Teamscope is impressive for its initial capability set, and the UI is exceptional in many ways. The holistic overview of teams and individuals is both interesting and useful.
However, I consider Teamscope to be an early product which possess much more as-yet-unrealized potential than current utility. The psychological underpinnings of personality congruence in teams are a fantastic start, but Teamscope needs to expand its foundational assumption-set to include research on teams and teamwork from the domains of Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Psychology, and Cognitivie Science. Teams don't work (or not) simply due to personalities, as that is only 1 nodal reference point in a complex network of human psycho-social interaction, and when we introduce that into socio-technical systems, the dynamics change even more (people interact with technology differently than they do with other people). Personality analysis is the tip of the very, very large iceberg. I'm excited to see what Teamscope will be able to do.
Pros:
Teamscope is a robust, highly innovative platform which provides a rich, holistic view of team dynamics, personalities, and culture.
Cons:
Personality identification is only one component in the complex dynamic system of human interactions. Lots left to uncover and explore here!
Great feedback Chris - I agree that we are just scratching the surface of a really complex, but at the same time exciting question. And we are in no way trying to oversimplify the complexity of human interaction in a team setting, just making the first baby steps to understand it. So there's a long journey ahead, but if our users keep supporting us the way you have till now, I am sure we'll get there.

we have used the system on 1 team + i have personally tested some features. looks promising! still many things can be added in the future, but basis is there.
Thanks for the feedback Maris. Really glad to hear we are moving in the right direction, but agree that there's a long way to go still to cover our main use cases. I will keep you posted when we launch major updates.

Tested this on the teams in our incubator and the feedback is really good. Go!
Pros:
Great quasi-anonymous second opinion on oneself
Cons:
With lots of questions to answer to, there should be a backtrack button in case you hit the wrong one on a shaky screen or in hurry.
Good feedback Martin - already working on the back button for the surveys. And looking forward to the next batch at the incubator - always great teams to work with.

We have used it to analyse our own team for development purpose. This is an additional value of the Team Scope for any team even without a necessity to hire new members.
Pros:
Handy tool to analyse the team with a good visual modelling
@rait_arro teams are made of people and in the end, the values and attitudes of your team members is the most objective predictor of what your team culture is like. Mathematically, we calculate all the min, max, avg, variances of all individual characteristics - that is around 10,000 data points for an average team of 7 - and generate feedback based on that.

@rait_arro@aloarro So you seem to be focused on the fit of a candidate with the immediate team that they might work with. What about the fit with the larger company, which isn't 7 plus or minus 2 members, but hundreds or thousands of people?
@stoweboyd we have indeed seen that engagement and happiness at work is mostly determined by how well one gets along with their team and manager, that's why we bring culture fit assessment down to team level. But you are right that we should have an organization view as well - the idea is in the pipeline and probably we'll have a solution for that in about 6 months.
@apsops great reference, thanks. Workshape helps match people based on technical skills, we do the same based on "soft" skills like personality, values, and attitudes. I would say the solutions complement each other
