Hey everyone I'm Sorin, a solo developer, and I just shipped my first app, Tamadoggo, a journal for your pet's life.
The honest reason it exists: one of my two staffies is allergic to everything, and I needed one place to keep her food changes, vet visits, and documents instead of a huge paper stack. It grew into a full journal with a cozy Tamagotchi-style "Crib" and a few small AI features.
Hey Sorin, congrats on shipping this!
Went through the website after seeing it here and I really think the Crib concept is a warm feature.
One thing that stuck with me, though, is the origin story (allergic staffie, growing paper stack) might be a more compelling hook than "beautifully kept". That specific chaos is exactly what your buyer recognizes. I write landing pages for a living so this stuff jumps out.
Curious to see how this one takes off!

@oluwatooni Thank you or the review and the interesting insight! If that twist resonates with others, I might adapt it. Support is much appreciated!
@s0rvas Glad it resonated! The people who'd pay for this usually recognize that chaos immediately and that's a much shorter path to "I need this" than beautiful design.
Would be interesting to see how it performs if you test it.
Cool! Here’s an idea for future development: take into account the legislation of specific countries. For example, mandatory vaccinations and similar requirements. I ran into this myself when I got a dog.

@natalia_iankovych Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely consider it. Where I am, legislation for pet owners is quite lax. We're just learning sterilization is something that has to be enforced. I know...
To be honest, it's so refreshing to see such a cute app without aggressive AI 🥲
As a pet owner 🐈 🐈 one thing that came to mind while watching your demo: for the “pro” package, integrating with something like Amazon or a pet store could be really good.
It could turn the app into a more complete journey tracker e.g. logging what food/snacks your pet reacts to, and reordering them directly. Might strengthen retention as well 📈
The monthly “warm letter” is a lovely touch. It makes logging feel rewarding and helps pet owners reflect on the month.

@alexandr_deev It truly is. It sounds like a small thing, but it feels like so much more when you review and in some way get to relive it. Thanks for the support!

Love the philosophy behind this ❤️ Congrats on the launch! 🚀 I'm curious to see how the monthly recaps evolve, those sound like they could become something pet owners really look forward to reading and keeping over the years.

Congrats on the launch! A warm, story-driven approach to pet tracking is such a refreshing alternative to cold, clinical apps.
