Other virtual try-on tools are designed to help you check out faster. Mine is designed to talk you out of it.
Stack: Next.js + Redis + image gen API. Hardest part was making the AI give an honest answer instead of a flattering one.
And — this morning a Discord user DM'd me about her experience.
She tried a green jacket and the thing she noticed wasn't the anti-impulse framing. It was that the face didn't warp. Her line: "didn't even mess with the face like how gpt does sometimes."
I'm not sure if 19% activation is a product problem or a "virtual try-on is hard to demo" problem. PH community — would love your take.

The goal is exactly to make it feel like you’re wearing the dress, without changing the rest of you. Really happy that came through!
I really like the idea behind this! The fact that you can see what the clothes would actually look like on you gives you a much better idea before buying. And I really like the questions at the end too, it makes you think twice about whether you actually want it or if it’s just an impulse. Such a cool and useful idea!
