Sponder handles the repetitive emails that clog up your support inbox. It learns from your website, FAQs and policies, then replies to customer questions when it knows the answer. If it isn't confident, it escalates to your team instead of guessing. Use Pilot Mode to review replies before sending, or Autopilot to let Sponder respond automatically. Control when replies are sent for a more natural customer experience. Less repetitive work. More time for the conversations that need a human.

OnTheLadder is a marketplace that connects mortgage advisers and people looking for a mortgage. They use Sponder for their support inbox. Here is an example of an email coming in, and the response Sponder gave without them even checking their inbox...
From potential customer:
"Hi I am newly qualified and am training along side an experienced broker, I am looking at generating leads. Could you send me some information on your leads please?"
Sponder's response:
"Dear {redacted name},
Thank you for your interest in OnTheLadder leads. We provide exclusive, phone-verified buyer enquiries, including first-time buyers, remortgage, and self-employed buyers. Each lead costs £65 and goes through a qualification process to ensure quality, including income and deposit criteria, consent confirmation, and phone verification.
There is no ongoing contract required, and the minimum lead pack size is 5 leads, allowing you a good trial of the quality. You can set up your account by contacting us, and we will help you get started with lead delivery as soon as your account is set up.
If you would like, you can also book a call with us via our advisers page here: https://ontheladder.net/advisers/
Please let us know if you would like further details or assistance.
Kind regards,
OnTheLadder"
One thing people have asked is how Sponder actually works, so here's a simple example.
Say someone emails your business asking what your refund policy is.
Sponder looks at the information you've given it, finds your refund policy, and uses that to write a reply to the customer. It sends that reply from your support inbox, just like a normal email.
If someone asks something it can't answer confidently, it doesn't just make up an answer. It puts the conversation in front of your team so a human can take over.
You can start by having Sponder draft replies for you to approve. Once you're happy with the answers it's giving, you can let it send them automatically.
You don't need to sit there writing loads of complicated rules for every possible question. You give it your existing information, connect your inbox, and set how much control you want over its replies.
That's the idea, anyway. Take the repetitive stuff off your plate without handing over the things that need a human.
We're live! 🚀
Sponder started as a tool I wanted myself. Having worked in customer support, I know how much time gets wasted answering the same questions over and over.
I'm a big believer in AI and automation, but I don't think it should come at the expense of good customer service.
Sponder handles the repetitive emails, but if it doesn't know the answer, it passes things to a human. You can review every reply before it goes out, or switch to autopilot when you're confident it's doing the job properly.
No big marketing budget or massive team behind this. Just me, building something I think can genuinely help support teams save time.
We're early, and there's plenty left to improve, so I'd love for people to give it a try and tell me what they think.
If you deal with repetitive support emails, give Sponder a go. I'd really appreciate it.
