Soju lets you save, search, organise, and share collections of your favourite bookmarks. Add searchable notes, tags, and group bookmarks into collections to share with friends and colleagues.
Hey hunters!
Be honest, how many tabs do you have open right now?
I’ve always struggled to keep my links organised. I have tabs open, pinned tabs, I have notion pages and text files of links to check out, I have “watch later” playlists, the list goes on.
I wanted a single place to save off important links, organise them with as little effort as possible, and then resurface them reliably when I need that awesome resource I found three months ago.
Soju is a modern bookmark manager built to get out of your way. That means single click saving with our Chrome extension or universal bookmarklet and AI-powered automatic tagging.
You can group bookmarks into collection and make those collections public and shareable. Think linktree but for groups of links you want to share with friends or colleagues.
I’ll be hanging around in the comments, and on twitter fixing bugs and adding stuff today so reach out and let me know what you think!
Thanks for supporting!

@spencerldixon I have 24 tabs on Edge and 8 on Chrome, I had a big purge last night, these are my "shortlist" bookmarks who knows how many I have across the board.
I'm falling out of love with Chrome, is the functionality the same on Edge or others, or can I only bookmark for now? Also will you be offering something for teams? My co-founders have 10x more than I do, finding the "thing" from last week is more cumbersome for them, than me, it can add a lot of time, when they ask for "two mins whilst I find it"
Oh and I was expecting something alcohol related.
@ty_robb it's pretty crazy to me that browsers don't really have a good bookmark manager solution built in, but at the same time I love the idea of something browser and platform agnostic like Soju.
Teams would be a great feature. The idea of making lists of links public and shareable was born out of me needing to do this at work, sort of a "here you go, here's all the resources for this project in one place". So there's a lot of bookmarking that goes on at work that I think is ripe for a good solution. Maybe I could expand that to a professional tier in future?
I do also accept bottles of plum soju instead of subscription payment

@spencerldixon, thanks, I have forwarded it to them. Also, a monthly sub would be like a "cup of coffee" it's easier on renewals and more likely to stick.
In a team setting, zoom or similar, the 5 mins to find a link 1) derails the chat, 2) cost 5 mins per person, and 3) is super annoying or embarrassing depending on the context.
Oh I just bagged a massive discount. I see today there is Ramen.tools, did you two plan it? I hope you come first and second. What a great mix.
Hi Spencer, love the idea! I see great potential if it could integrate with platforms like Notion, Scrintal, and Heptabase, all of which are crucial in the knowledge management process.
If knowledge management people are your ICP, there's a Youtuber
who's quite into discussing Heptabase, Mem, and knowledge management in general. He even created a video detailing why he stopped using Mem in 2023. And he recently made another explaining why he's coming back again to Mem.
Anyway
Keep up the great work!
Looks really great! Are there any integrations with Chrome/Firefox bookmarks or with cloud storage like Drive, Dropbox, or iCloud? I can never really trust myself to stick to one bookmark manager so having import/export options at the very least is almost a requirement for trying anything out.
@bradydowling I definitely feel the same about product lock in!
There will be firefox/chrome/most major browser importing coming soon, as well as exporting everything to JSON so you can always have a backup, or migrate to another solution, or just do some data crunching on your bookmarks for fun!
Hi Spencer! Congrats on your launch! I really like the getting started pop-up and how you added a bit of context to it. I always see makers just describe how to get started and this felt like a nice change. I love this tool! However, some of the bookmark previews are not appearing / while others look a bit squished. Just wanted to share some feedback. Congrats on your launch!
@pamsny thanks Pam! I'm currently getting the preview image from opengraph tags, but not every website has a preview image, and the ones that do have a ton of variation in their size and quality.
But the beauty of having the link saved though is that I can improve how Soju handles the preview images and then backfill any links you've already saved to fix this!

Hi @spencerldixon – congrats on the launch! Would love to get a bi-weekly email summary of my bookmarks, like "You have X videos to watch and Z books to read".
@matthias_fuchs2 damn that's such a good idea! I've been thinking about ways to make resurfacing and re-engaging with links you've saved fun. There's a "lucky" button which takes you to a random bookmark right now, but a summary or "what's hot 🔥" would be such a fun way of interacting with your links
@matthias_fuchs2 this is exactly what I was thinking about. For me, its not about mismanaged bookmarks but about remembering that i have something like this when the need comes to use it. For example, a github link for a library i might use in the future. But when the time comes, i may or may not remember that one library i saved. Any solutions for this?
