I have a few questions regarding this product since it seems to be a great alternative to most note taking apps. 1. Does it work without an internet connection? and is the app available on all platforms or just Mac only? 2. How is my data stored and where? 3. Does it have any AI in it?
Monica
@syedumaircodes 1. Yep, great offline support, and all platforms, mac, windows, web, iOS, android 2. Encrypted with your private key on your device, encrypted data synced to our server. 3. Not yet since AI is currently sent to servers somewhere so it compromises privacy. in the near future we're thinking of ways to integrate AI while protecting privacy.

@monicaincog Wohoo! (read that in Homer Simpson's voice) This is great and THANK GOD it doesn't have AI.

Congratulations on launching SNote! I'm curious - how does SNote handle things like password and sensitive info storage? As an early user wanting to keep my data safe, are there any specific practices you recommend for making the most of SNote's security features?
Monica
@sarvpriy_arya Everything is end-to-end encrypted so you're safe. just pick a strong password to encrypt your private key. only keep in mind that you have to remember your password otherwise you'll lose access to your data.

I love your focus on privacy especially in this situation when it comes to note taking as there might be very vulnerable informations @monicaincog . And by the way, the landing page looks great.🙌
Monica
@jim_engine thanks for the kind words 🥰

This looks super interesting. I have been playing around with Crytpad.fr recently. -Cryptpad allows for no email- just username. which makes it more anonymous. any plans for this? - do you have 2fa?
Monica
@jackpot08 yep both is on our roadmap.
