I’m Rishabh, head of product at Skydo, and today we’re excited to share Skydo Payouts with you for the very first time.

Why we built it

Running Skydo’s cross-border receivables product put us on weekly calls with founders who rely on talent in India. Every conversation sounded the same:

• Hidden FX fees: 1-2 % vanishing on every transfer

• Compliance headaches: no FIRC, endless bank e-mails, month-end panic

• "Bulk" payouts that weren’t bulk: one wire, one invoice, on repeat

For me, working on Skydo Payouts has been like watching a puzzle come together piece by piece.

As someone who’s been on the design side, I can’t tell you how satisfying it’s been to figure out how to simplify something so complex.

At the beginning, I honestly wasn’t sure how we’d manage to make cross-border payments feel simple, but as the product grew, so did our ideas. It’s been inspiring to see how much the team has learned and adapted, and now that we’re launching – I’m just proud to be part of something that’s going to make a difference for so many businesses.

When I first started with the Skydo team, I couldn't fully appreciate just how much we were setting out to tackle. Cross-border payments? Seems simple enough. But as we got into it, I realized how many small details and roadblocks businesses face on a daily basis. (Which is so unlike domestic fintech in the modern context!)

Working with this team to break it all down and rebuild it into something fast, reliable and transparent has been one of the most satisfying challenges.

The way we’ve all come together to solve this problem, with each team member bringing something unique to the table that’s what makes me so proud of Skydo Payouts. Can’t wait for everyone to see it in action
