The company owner is amassing follows and reviews from jobseekers. I applied to a job like hundreds of others in June/early July. In the description it was written that for them to consider an application, the applicant needs to follow their Instagram page. I did. Not because of the job but because I live a zero-waste life myself and wanted to support a brand that cares for the planet. On July 25 I received an email from the owner's ID that I was selected for the next round and someone would contact me to schedule an interview. Now he added that as part of the interview process I needed to download the app, create a customer account and browse through the app and let them know my suggestions. I thought this was brilliant because no one can fake knowledge. I followed the steps & kept the list of suggestions ready. Days passed but I didn't receive any email from them. I thought they probably wanted my inputs beforehand so I emailed them that. There was no response. After a week I emailed the owner once again and reminded him that I was still waiting for someone to contact me. He said to wait because someone will. I waited and waited and finally an email arrived. This time the owner again asked me to install the app, when I repeated that I already did and even sent my suggestions, you know what he did? He then asked me to share an honest review for the app and someone would respond. I followed his instructions. Now after more than a month no one contacted me and I became suspicious. After browsing through other reviews it all made sense to me. The owner is running an organised scam on the pretext of giving jobs to people and gathering reviews, follows and everything else.

I am very much impressed by the idea of upcycling clothes from waste and deadstock materials. It is a very unique and productive idea. However I noticed this idea is not clearly shown when a user lands on the application interface. When I opened the application I initially thought it was just a clothing/apparel online store. But since I did a little research about the company I understood that it is about upcycling of waste clothes. This idea is really great, but it has to be conveyed to the user easily. Because a regular target audience who opens the app may not understand the idea behind it and might think it's just a regular clothing/apparel store. Also after a little bit of research I found out that you don't sell ready-to-wear clothes and the person has to place the order after which the clothing will prepared and delivered. This concept is also not clearly conveyed. A regular user who visits "Shirts" section will see only some cloth materials instead of a shirt and might get confused and leave the platform.

Shopper Bird has an attractive app, however it is lacking the information/ the moto of the brand which Is “Tackling waste with style Reuse, Recycle, Reduce” The brand should focus more on SEO and should run campaigns to increase the awareness The brand can create a buzz around the genre “recycled products” on general The brand needs to tie up with leading influencers (environment and fashion enthusiast/actors/politicians/designers etc.) to increase the awareness of the brand and to highlight the importance of recycling/reused materials. Skirts/Trousers/belts/jackets etc. all section led to the same page/clothing, which should be kept separate as in there should be unique material shown for each category. The app can segregate the products based on its raw materials like plastic / used dress etc. Need to create section to educate the importance of recycled products and how its beneficial to the planet. Also, post contents on the same. Post section is brilliant, just that we need to add a buying option taking the customer to the payment gateway. Ned to create a buzz on this genre, i.e., recycled products and the brand should focus on SEO and to run campaigns on social media platforms to increase the awareness

Weaknesses The image size of listing Belts, Trousers, Jacket can be of smaller size and Customers can Zoom or Click on the image to view the larger size of the same. Loading of Page is slow during the occurrence of the IMAGES. Might be due to the heavy processing in the MAIN android application or due to more database hit/access. Need to have a CACHE mechanism to ensure that pages are loaded fast on demand. Hitting the Network Server should be very less and hence local storage is the need of the hour If a Customer wants to list the “Jackets” the first 6 images can be loaded quickly from the CACHE and then the remaining can be loaded at the background Opportunities Providing a Configuration facility for the Customer to re-arrange themselves which should appear first, second in sequence during the Successful LOGIN like Dashboard, Post, Chat. Customer can be allowed to upload his/her own Design (of taste) and submit the same to specific Email address provided by Shopperbird Live videos of MODELS (Male & Female) can be introduced as short clips which will make the APP more intuitive. These videos can be stored as Favourites by the Customers utilizing our apps for future reference Customer Support Details can be placed under the MENU as Contact Us Out of anxiety … Why the APP has been designed with Black and White theme (i.e. the Fore and the Background Colour).. Being a Fashion Design App it can be thought-off with divine colours.. This shall attract more customers to peep into the APP

To keep it very simple & short my honest reviews are: *User friendly application with a good interface *A unique concept of customizable & reusable products differentiates it from other apps *One of the best things is buyers can chat and know the makers of the products. That helps build the trust factor *It can be more helpful for the first time visitors if an approximate range of the products are mentioned while uploading them *While signing up, it shows a security check popup. If that is eliminated, then the users' login process can become smoother and more trustworthy

Downloaded the App & below is my take: PROS: 1) the vision / objective is the need of the hour 2) the look & feel is neat & appealing 3) great designs. gives opportunity to various designers across the globe CONS 1) at times the App does not open (Android) 2) On direct log in, message from Google that the app has been blocked 3) need to work on the search option. On clicking the category eg, Cotton, just an image of fabric is displayed which may be a put-off. It should have further categorization & sub-categorization like linen or 100% cotton, mixed with lycra etc & then sub-categorize it to shirts, t-shirts etc

Hi thanks for selecting my profile, I would like to share my opinion upon the shopperbird app I used on iPhone (iOS) PROS: 1) the application at least for me works very efficiently and doesn’t have any delay on loading or opening new pages 2) the design of the main page and the tool bar at the bottom make it pretty straight forward to be used. 3) the “live feed” gives extra points, an example could be related a new user, he/she can easily understand and have a overview on the final product and or the company mission 4) on the section “find” it’s impeccably organized within a vast choice of all the materials that could be used to create an authentic piece of clothing 5) the description of each type of material ( ex: cotton, wool, silk) is super detailed and documented. Which definitely gives extra points in terms of specificity and customer caring ( Being 100% transparent on what the customer will get if choosing that specific material). CONS: 1) on the “feed” is unclear if can be followed more people and/or pages or it’s only a general for “shopping bird” 2) the fact that in the near future the app will Be useable only by subscribers could lead potential buyers away. Personally these are the main pros and cons. In addition I wanna add that the mission statement of the company is a modern idea of intending fashion, in terms of eco friendliness and reusing “ unwanted material” it can be a big improvement to the way people see clothing and fabrics. Dear Team Shopperbird, Greetings! Pls go through the below Observation/Learnings ,which I have come across; Shopperbird is a great app, which I have admired strongly, there believes and ideation for a new trend in market is really appreciable. It will be really getting a great expansion and success in coming days. It will be a totally changing scenario for fabric market and ongoing new trends in fashion markets. The app is very simple and user-friendly, it's really easy to operate and understand. The features are great which gives users a complete freedom to design their likings and design their outfits. In addition to this, I have some inputs which can be implemented so that we will grab the market easily. 1) There should be a different show of apparels Daily or on a Weekly basis. 2) The Models should change as per apparels in every week. 3) We can use our satisfied customers pictures to show case, if they allow, with their outfits and order's. (In a Happy Customers segment) 4) Regular highlights should notify the customer's who down loaded the app, so that movement will increase., and every other downloader should get rewards points on every reference. 5) Traditions and beliefs should keep in mind as per the market change . Ex- Indian market is totally different from the US market. 6) As we open the app and go on Home screen, we see our spends, that should be added in a last section as we see the spends, we stop spending. 7) There are very limited fabrics available, that range should be on a higher note. 8) Varieties of products display should be more, so that impulse buy should happen. 9) Models sketches should be added and as we select the fabric that should go on a models outfit so it will get easier for resemblance. Hello team, First of all, I want to say, the vision and mission of Shopperbird are clear and it's a unique concept of upcycling. Overall the experience with the application is good, but there are some issues that I have faced. Listing them below with some suggestions that I think can be implemented to increase user engagement: Feature issues and suggestions: 1. An app intro and guide should be there on first-time registration. 2. After deleting the account, a new account can't be created using the last email-id and even can't log in with the same. 3. We can have a star rating option for posts. 4. Please add an option for multiple currencies. 5. More features can be added to the chat section, like deleting messages. 6. In the Find section, items have only names. If they could have related images as background it will great. 7. Profile data is not updating after editing until I restart the application. 8. Mobile gestures are not working properly on some screens, not going back on sliding from the phone's edge. 9. Email login doesn't work sometimes. 10. Taking too much time in loading images. Even simple texts are taking a lot of time. Interface related issue: 1. It is a fashion app and it should look colorful, but in the contrast, the color theme is black and white. 2. The UI is looking like other apps, not looking much unique (as in the Menu section), and can use animations and motions to enhance. 3. The empty graph looking weird in the dashboard can show some message to the user or any animation will also be cool. 4. While creating an account, when entering the password in edittext it doesn't scroll above the keyboard, making it hidden behind the keyboard.

I would like to start off by appreciating the motive and idea behind Shopperbird - The team striving to cut down waste by making custom clothes on demand through upcycling materials. This whole concept of sustainable fashion is really interesting and inspiring to me. Now coming to the feedback of the app, I found the app to be working smoothly. I like how all the necessary options are available in the menu, such as, profile, my orders, address and card options etc. which made it user friendly. What could be improved are the visuals in the app, the fabric images can be more informative and much appealing to the audience. Images that are authentic and aesthetically pleasing can grab the customers’ attention. The catalog under each category could be more direct rather than the customer clicking on the fabric they like and then getting to know about it. The app could use some colour as well, either in the navigation or other options just to make it more interesting and fun for the users. I have also observed that once you click on chat to order something, there is no option to either undo or delete it. Having an option to undo chats instantly can help the users if they wish to no longer go ahead or would want something else. It will just make their shopping experience easier because chances are they might have clicked it by mistake as well. A review section below the fabrics and a section where ideas could be dropped on how to style a fabric, for those who are unsure of what to make of it, could be added. Like a fun blog, perhaps.
