Traditional knowledge management is passive—information is stored but rarely revisited. Recall shifts this paradigm by transforming saved knowledge into active insights. Summarize content, chat with it, store it in a self-organizing knowledge base, and reinforce learning with spaced repetition. The foundation of Recall is its knowledge graph, which automatically links related concepts—uncovering hidden connections you might have otherwise missed.

Cruise Chen

Ok this is wild—being able to actually chat with stuff I’ve watched or read is a gamechanger for my messy brain, ngl. You folks realy nailed it!

Paul Richards

@francescod_ales Thanks so much Francesco. I have been a fan of your YT channel since the early Keep Productive days so it means so much to get a message from you.

@sankari_nair I have been continually delighted with Recall though this release really blew me away. You've managed to nail 8 of the top 10 things on my wish list. So much h repo management to change for the better with this release. Great appre nation for the developer's efforts.

Mihir

@sankari_nair  @gene_bellinger Thanks Gene. Let us know if you have any feedback, feature requests or issues!

Gene Bellinger

@sankari_nair  @mikr13 Expect to chat with Sanks early next week. That should give me time to absort the marvelous new features.

Gene Bellinger

@sankari_nair  @mikr13 I just tripped out realizing that every chat I have in Recall is now in the context of the entre repo which overcomes the problem of not being able to teach Gemini anything because if forgets everthing everytime I leave a chat. Awesone!!!!!!

Paul Richards

@sankari_nair  @gene_bellinger Amazing to hear this feedback from you Gene. We really appreciate all the input/feedback you have been providing us the last months.

Gene Bellinger

Sanskar Yadav

Congratulations on such a solid launch!

Recall actually sounds super useful for organizing and, most importantly - using saved content instead of letting it rot in bookmarks.
I’m curious, though - how well does Recall handle messy, mixed sources?

Paul Richards

@sanskarix Hi there, thanks for the comment and question. It works well on all the sources that we support. We transform the data into the same text embeddings so there shouldn't be a difference in quality across different data types. You can find all the source that we support here: https://docs.getrecall.ai/supported-content/all-supported-content

I'm obsessed with these new style apps where you just toss articles and videos to them and they summarize them. Recall is fantastic. I love that they also make connections between the articles and videos and things you save to it. I love this app so far.

Sankari Nair

@iamjmw Thank you so much Joseph! I do hope you have a fantastic experience with us. Let us know how it goes.

Paul Richards

@iamjmw Thanks for the amazing post Joseph. Hope you carry on loving using Recall. Also do let us know if you have feedback on how we can continue to improve.

Congrats @sankari_nair and Recall team. After demoing Recall today, already seeing great FTU value. Onboarding was really smooth, informative, and helpful to help me navigate the basics with the YT tutorial, and linking me to the chrome extension. Already saved a number of YouTube videos and had my first chat with the content, and quite happy with the results. Just one small UI issue I had... I didn't realize that I had to type the tag directly next to the @, so I included the @ in the prompt area where it says "chat with your knowledge base". The input disappeared into the internet ether, and I waited a moment thinking there was latency, but then figured out I needed to add my tag to the @ section above the prompt. It would have been nice to either have Recall notice my intention and still allow the chat to proceed, or send me an error to let me know to retype the prompt with the correct tagging procedure. Otherwise, a very smooth and satisfying FTU product experience!

Paul Richards

@sankari_nair  @jorgeclarktan Thanks a lot for this feedback Jorge and glad the onboarding went (mostly) smoothly. You should be able to @ content as you would expect within the prompt input. There must have been a glitch. We will look into it tomorrow and try to debug it.

Jorge Clark-Tan

@sankari_nair  @paul_richards1 update - I loved my initial experience so much and got so much value chatting with my first Recall knowledge base, I already upgraded to the Plus plan this morning :) Thinking about the work and personal use cases and excited for all the possibilitlies!

Paul Richards

@sankari_nair  @jorgeclarktan Glad to hear it Jorge.
