Signup flow seems unclear for non‑tech users. Onboarding could help.
Quickleap
@shenshin good catch. right now it's just sign in with github, which makes sense for devs but yeah, not ideal for non-tech users.
i'm working on adding email signup and better onboarding steps to guide people through the first redirect setup. should make it way clearer.
appreciate the feedback, this helps prioritize what to build next.

Interesting idea.
I actually wanted to set-up some simple redirect with CloudFlare and faced this very problem. They wanted extra payment for SSL for sub-domains (if I understood that correctly).
I would imagine your uptime would be of most importance! 🚀
You'll need some external system to monitor and report your uptime, people need to know your service never goes down!
Quickleap
@avloss thanks for the feedback!
yeah, cloudflare's ssl for custom subdomains can get confusing and pricey. that's exactly why i built quickleap, you just point your domain, and it handles the ssl automatically . no extra setup or payment for subdomains.
you're absolutely right about uptime being critical. quickleap runs on a globally distributed network to keep things stable . and i'm working on a public status page so you can see uptime stats in real-time. should have that live soon.
it also has analytics built in so you can track every redirect and catch any issues fast . but agree that external monitoring is important too - i'm looking at integrating with services like pingdom for that extra layer of transparency.
appreciate you pointing this out. if you want to test it out, happy to help you set up your redirects 🚀
Product Hunt Wrapped 2025
Always end up wrestling DNS, SSL, and a hacky nginx just to 301 a domain. Quickleap looks like the fix. Paths + auto certs is the win. Any API rate limits or support for custom headers? Saving this for the next side project / throwaway domain.
Quickleap
@alexcloudstar thanks! yeah, that dns/ssl/nginx setup is painful. that's why i built this.
quickleap handles ssl automatically when you add your domain . no config needed.
api has reasonable rate limits - won't hit normal usage. for high volume stuff i can adjust your account limits.
custom headers aren't supported yet, but good call. what's your use case? i'm tracking requests and can prioritize.
perfect for side projects. setup takes 2 minutes. let me know if you try it.
Wow, Quickleap looks awesome! Path forwarding is a lifesaver. How does the API handle bulk updates to redirects?
Quickleap
@jaydev13 thanks! glad you like the path forwarding.
bulk api updates aren't available yet - right now you'd need to update redirects one at a time through the api . but this is definitely on my list to add.
what's your use case? if you're managing a lot of redirects i can prioritize this feature.
I’ve seen a few tools tackle this space. What do you think makes your approach different?
Quickleap
@tahmina_ansary fair question. most tools either require you to mess with dns/ssl configs yourself or they're part of bigger platforms where redirects are just a side feature.
quickleap does one thing, "redirects" and makes it dead simple. you add your domain, ssl sets up automatically, and you're live in 2 minutes. no cloudflare worker scripts, no nginx configs, no certificate headaches.
path forwarding and analytics are built in from the start. plus you can set custom rules based on user attributes, redirect people based on location, device, browser, whatever you need. all without writing code.
basically, it just works. that's the difference.
