Charlie Clark
Hey Product Hunt 👋 I’m Charlie, the maker of Questas. I grew up loving choose-your-own-adventure books, but actually building them is a pain: keeping track of paths, writing variations, and finding art that matches every scene. I built Questas to make that whole process feel playful instead of intimidating. With Questas you: - Describe a character, a concept, and a visual style - Get a full branching story with matching AI art - Then tweak, add twists, and share a link so others can play through it I’ve been using it to make adventures about my own life, toys for my kid, and little “what if” stories for friends. I’d love to see what you create with it. Feedback, questions, or wild feature ideas are very welcome in the comments. I’ll be here all day answering everything. 😊 Check it out: https://www.questas.co/ My life Questas: https://www.questas.co/adventure...

@charlie_clark It’s a lovely story of creating and sharing. Thank you for explaining how you decided to build it, and thank you for this product. My first thought was that it’s a wonderful tool for children and their parents, but it could also work great as a company game! Congrats on the launch!

Charlie Clark

@tetiana_hryshmanovska Thank you for the kind words Tetiana. Agreed that parents of young children are the most obvious buyer persona, but I'm also keen to explore others!

Tetiana

@charlie_clark Sounds great! I’m sure you’ll discover even more interesting use cases as your audience grows. Wishing you lots of success with the next steps!

@charlie_clark Congrats on the launch🎉! If you ever need help improving your onboarding copy or explaining features more clearly, FAQ or product explainer in place? It helps reduce support questions early and helps end users, if you need one I’d be glad to assist.
Siful

one of the most fun ways I’ve seen to create interactive stories.

Charlie Clark

@getsiful Thanks! So glad you found it fun 🙏

Michael Voinov

actually spent like 15 mins playing with this just now. generated a weird sci-fi story that ended with me eating a space rock. 10/10 would play again

Charlie Clark

@michaelrivellium Hey Michael, aww yeah that's what I like to hear! Appreciate you playing around with Questas

Alia Soni

This is really sweet. Curious, who do you imagine as your main users? Kids, creators, or more hobby writers?

Charlie Clark

@alia_soni1 Thanks Alia! Probably kids/parents but still figuring that out.

Germán Merlo

Loved it Charlie! Just a quick question: who is your buyer persona?

Charlie Clark

@german_merlo1 Thanks Germán! To be completely honest, I'm still figuring that out, but I think realistically it's most likely to be parents

Germán Merlo

@charlie_clark thanks for the quick answer! I guess so. Sometime I imagined myself building something like this but this question was a blocker for me. Hope yo can figure it out cause it looks awesome. All the best man!

Charlie Clark

@german_merlo1 hehe yeah I hope I can figure it out! Appreciate the kind words.

Abdul Rehman

Congrats on the launch, Charlie! This looks super fun and creative. How do you see Questas being used for learning or teaching?

Charlie Clark

@abod_rehman Thanks for the question Abdul!

I have been thinking a lot about how Questas can support learning. For very young kids, it can work like a guided story. A parent could set it to play straight through with narration so it becomes a simple storytime experience that still feels fresh each time.

As kids get older, the choices become a way to practice reading and decision making.

It also has real potential for creative learning. Kids can build their own branching stories, plan out the paths, and share them. It turns writing and comprehension into something playful and interactive.

@charlie_clark might also be used somehow for learning a foreign language
