I'm Mykhailo, the solo developer behind QuickBill.
The backstory: I needed to send an invoice to a client. Googled "free invoice generator." Every result either wanted me to create an account, added a watermark, or tried to upsell me into full accounting software. I just wanted a PDF.
So I built the tool I wished existed:
1. Open quickbill.cash
2. Fill in the form (live preview as you type)
3. Export PDF - done
No sign-up. No watermark. No limits on the free tier.
The whole thing took about 3 weeks to build. Some decisions I'm happy with:
- Server-side PDF rendering (consistent across all devices)
- 131-bit entropy shareable links (anti-indexed from Google)
- Zero tracking cookies (your data, your business)
Some things I'm still working on:
- Invoice status tracking (draft -> sent -> viewed -> paid)
- More templates
- Multi-language support
