I run this most mornings while working through email and light tasks before the actual deep-work block starts. The canvas idea sold me faster than I expected - I built a small rain plus distant fire setup near my desk and left a wind layer further back, and coming back to that exact same spatial arrangement every day is what makes it stick, versus just hitting play on a random ambient track. The app feels genuinely native, not like an Electron wrapper, which matters a lot to me on a Mac.
