It all started with a simple question: Why does secure document sharing cost hundreds of dollars a year? Today, we're excited to share Plox โ€” the most affordable DocSend alternative. ๐Ÿ” Share documents securely ๐Ÿ“Š Get real-time engagement analytics ๐Ÿท๏ธ Branded links, viewer verification, access control ๐Ÿ’ธ Starts at just $8/month โ€” no per-seat nonsense Whether you're raising a round, closing a deal, or sharing sensitive docs โ€” Plox gives you DocSend power without DocSend pricing. โœจ Built for founders, sales teams, and anyone tired of overpriced link sharing. ๐Ÿš€ Try it here: https://plox.in We'd love your feedback and thoughts!

@rohan_nayak4ย Congrats on the launch. Will give it a try

@k_piotr sure would love to hear your feedback :)

@rohan_nayak4ย Congrats on the launch! You mention it starts at just $8/month - however I can't see that price on the pricing page. $19 looks to be the lowest tier (Pro, paid annually). You also say "no per-seat nonsense", but it is priced "per-user" - can you clarify?

Nika

Pretty cool you share also some free plan for probing :)

Rohan Nayak

@busmark_w_nikaย Yup we just hate free trials!

Nika

Trying at the moment. You have analytics โ€“ I like that!
One thing: It somehow doesn't react when I want to preview the doc.

Rohan Nayak

@busmark_w_nikaย When you copy the link and view it that's when the analytics kick in. Previews are just to see how the document looks in the preview window.

Nika

@rohan_nayak4ย Link and analytics are okay, but the preview window doesn't react. But maybe it is only me.

Rohan Nayak

@busmark_w_nikaย Maybe it's a bug, let me check and get back. Thank you so much for your feedback.

Sardul Bhattarai

This sounds like a smart and affordable option for secure document sharing. Love that it offers real-time insights and branding without the high cost. Great work making this more accessible!

Alexis Luo

I just tried Plox. I adore its simplicityโ€”it's so much easier to use than other platforms for tracking engagement and sharing documents. One quick comment: in my test, the viewers' location information didn't seem to be correct. Well done on the launch!

Rohan Nayak

@alexis_luoย Thanks for trying plox out! And yes we will work towards improving the location based information.

Nikunj Sharma

Looks super promising. Can I collaborate with my teammates? Or is this only for sharing purposes.

Rohan Nayak

@nikunj_sย Yes you can collaborate and add teammates in the coming months. We are currently testing it in beta.

Aryan Pereira

I'm part of the team behind Plox, so excited to finally share this with all of you!

We built Plox because we were frustrated with how expensive and rigid traditional tools like DocSend or virtual data rooms were. Founders, investors, bankers, all of us needed something simpler, more affordable, and fast.

What started as a lightweight secure doc viewer has evolved into a full-blown data room product with analytics, access controls, watermarking, custom branding, and guest-friendly sharing.

Whether you're fundraising, closing a deal, or just want to send a pitch deck with confidence, Plox gives you that power, without $300/mo pricing or clunky UX.

Would love your feedback, questions, or even weird edge cases... Thank you, Aryan Pereira
