A notebook for meeting-full days. No bot joins the call; Pitara captures notes and transcript on your device and turns every day into memory. Ask questions mid-meeting. Share your memory to onboard new teammates and pass on expertise, no meeting required.

Hey Product Hunt! Chayan here, maker of Pitara.
I have always wanted an easier way to share what I know. I used to create tutorials (I ran sharedev.com and a few more tutorial series), and it was a slow way to share knowledge: hours to produce each one, outdated within months. Meanwhile the real knowledge was being created every day, in my meetings and my notes, and it was locked in there where nobody else could use it.
Recent AI tools are great at capturing meetings and organizing notes. But capture was never my problem; transfer was. What I captured was only useful to me, and hard to put to work. If a teammate needed what I knew, the options were reading a pile of documents, booking yet another meeting with me, or waiting for me to produce a tutorial.
So I built Pitara to give us a way to share memory with each other:
No bot joins your calls. Pitara captures audio, notes, and transcript right on your device, so there's no third "participant" cluttering every meeting. Works with Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom.
Your day becomes memory. Every meeting and note feeds a memory you can question: "What did legal say about the vendor contract?" "What did I promise the customer in March?" You can even ask questions mid-meeting and get answers while the conversation is still happening.
Memory is shareable, on your terms. Your memory stays yours; you grant it to specific people, instead of every call being dumped into a team workspace. Share it and teammates can query meetings they never attended. Instead of me writing a tutorial, a new teammate just asks my memory. Sales teams are our clearest example: a top rep shares their memory, and a new rep can ask questions of every deal conversation the team has ever had, instead of shadowing calls for months. Expertise stops living in one person's head.
Everything is private by default and only shared with the people you choose. Desktop app for Mac and Windows, mobile app for your notes and transcripts on the go.
Two offers for launch day:
π For the Product Hunt community: 3 months of Pro free.
π€ For teams of 10 to 50 people: we're looking for a handful of design partners. You get a free subscription for your whole team; in return we want your honest, unfiltered feedback on what works and what doesn't, especially around shared team memory. If that's you, comment here or email me at chayanvinayak@gmail.com.
I'll be here all day answering questions. Tell me what you'd want your memory to do.
Love the on-device angle, that's a big plus for privacy. One thing I'd love to see is a way to flag or highlight action items directly during the meeting, maybe by tapping a phrase like "we'll send that over by Friday" so it gets auto-tagged as a follow-up in the notes.
@mihriban5dygΒ thanks and great feedback! Yeah, in-call populating action items can be a great way to get alignment by the end of the meeting
