The "skip customer research entirely or collect feedback that never shapes positioning" pattern is painfully real. From the founder side: we went through exactly this on our own product. Started with "safety-first" framing for a developer tool (sounded important, technically accurate), six months of low conversion. After actual customer conversations we realized the language people used was about control and visibility, not safety. Re-positioned around "local API hub for AI agents," doubled relevant signups in 60 days. Same product, different words.
The hard part wasn't collecting feedback - it was distinguishing what customers literally said from what they actually meant.
Curious: does Perspiva separate the two layers (verbatim language vs underlying need), or is the synthesis pass meant to surface both? Because most tools I've tried either give me a word cloud or a strategy summary, and neither alone is enough.
@artem_fedorovich I spent over 15 years in product marketing and developed my own frameworks for both market research and positioning. I worked with over 50 companies across a variety of industries. We used all of my 15+ years of tools, frameworks and guides to come up with our positioning frameworks. It's way more than just a word cloud or anything that simple. We'd love for you to try it out!
Congrats on the launch, Yasmeen. The “anthropologists of modern human behavior” line is great, and I like that Perspiva is focused on what happens after feedback is collected, not just making another survey tool.
I’m curious, when teams get the positioning or messaging insights back, do they usually know what to change next, or is there still a gap between “this is interesting customer feedback” and “we know what decision to make from it”?
@danush_singla Great questions, similar to the earlier question, the report provides clear actionable insights and guidance that a CMO would be happy to use. I spent 15+ years developing my own reports, so my co-founder @michael_ezehi and I brought these frameworks to life in our customer intelligence report. I didnt want to just get the survey results, so we developed something I could use and implement right away. I could use these to start building campaigns, marketing funnels, and a strategy on the GTM, a feature list and so much more. We'd love for you to try it out.
