oMoo is an AI-driven haptic music player that can let everyone touch the pulse, texture, and rhythm of music on their phones. We want to bring the power and beauty of music to everyone, including people who are deaf or hard of hearing.
β€ Hey all music enthusiasts and geeks from Product Hunt! π I am super excited to launch oMoo - the music player with Haptic.
Music has been my passion since childhood, thanks to my granny who introduced me to it. Now, as a piano and guitar player, I love performing, but granny's worsening hearing loss made it hard for her to hear my music.
I've explored advanced technologies to restore granny's hearing, but none were effective. She smiled as I played, but she could no longer hear the melodies.
π΅ Inspired by Apple's Haptic Engine, I build oMoo - a totally new music player, to offer a new way to experience music through hand, not just ear. π§ I believe oMoo will bring the power and beauty of music to everyone, including people who are deaf or hard of hearing like my granny.
π Join us in the comments, we'd love to hear from you!
@amiaomomoΒ Support! Haptic music is a revolutionary approach to the music experience, and I am sure oMoo will be able to bring the joy and power of music to more people.

@amiaomomoΒ @lesley_0516Β Absolutely! Haptic music is such a brilliant concept. Apple explored it a bit, but what youβre doing feels like the GPT moment for haptic musicβnext level innovation! ππ₯
@amiaomomoΒ really impressive concept! i read the maker's story about their granny, very touching. this feels different than just regular phone haptics, like you can actually feel the music structure, not just buzzes. it's a cool way to think about accessibility too. curious to try this with some complex electronic tracks. congrats on the launch! @_hounter_007Β Guess what? I totally remember you man, very impressed! What do you think of the refreshed oMoo? btw, did you find the tactile egg in the app?

@amiaomomoΒ Wow, thanks for remembering! The refreshed oMoo is fantasticβI'm really impressed with the improvements! And about the tactile eggβ¦ I haven't found it yet, but now Iβm curious! Any hints? π
What a meaningful innovation! Love how oMoo transforms music into tactile experiences through haptic feedback. The potential impact for the deaf and hard of hearing community is incredible.
The idea of feeling music's pulse, texture, and rhythm through your phone is fascinating. This could revolutionize how we experience music, making it truly accessible to everyone. Would love to see more examples of how different music genres translate into haptic patterns! π΅β¨
@zongze_xΒ I'm glad you can base such a high rating on oMoo and that you totally get the value of oMoo. We're very focused on what oMoo means to the hearing impaired community, but really what oMoo offers is a whole new way of experiencing digital art, which we see as a more COMPLETE form of music.
π Huge congrats on launching oMoo! The vision of "music through your hand" literally gave me goosebumps! π The story about your grandma is so heartfelt β turning personal struggle into tech-for-good is truly inspiring. Using haptics to democratize music? Pure genius! β¨ π₯ Obsessed with how you translate rhythm into tactile textures! The Tempo-Pulse feature is chef's kiss! What if users could train AI-generated vibration patterns? Imagine letting deaf creators "compose" via custom haptic signatures! πΉ P.S. We're building Tate-A-Tate (no-code Agent platform). Your haptic algorithms in our Skill Store could spark multisensory AI creations! π οΈ Chat about collabs?
@rocshehΒ Great you totally get the appeal of haptic music and the unique value of haptic. At the same time your product sounds very innovative, let's deepen our communication to build cooperation and do something together for accessible digitization!π
As a deaf community manager, I get to hear directly from our users every day.
As some users said, βIβm not deaf, but the little boy I babysit is and he loves this. Thank you for making music inclusive.β
That really stuck with meβ€οΈ and we took that to heart: implifying the interface, refining the haptic styles, and continuing to think carefully about how every user, with or without hearing, can enjoy music in their own way.π₯°
@amiaomomoΒ Great, please let me join your community. I'm a Chinese user, do you have a Chinese community? I'm really looking forward to sharing oMoo with my Chinese friends.
@ayuanyuanΒ In fact, our team has a full range of haptic feedback technology capabilities and, coincidentally, we have combined haptic feedback with meditative experiences in other application scenarios. The results of our user experiments show that it greatly enhances the effectiveness of meditation!π
@sirui_wangΒ I tried to find a piece of Chinese temple music. The melodious temple bells accompanied by the sound of the wind are incredibly relaxing, and I love this feeling.
