So do you prompt to generate MCP integrations? Also, do you handle custom data from different sources
@O - AI coworker in Slack
@chilarai yes, you first upload your OpenAPI file or URL and then you can use our AI agent to customise your MCP tools. What do you mean by custom data exactly? Would love to hear your setup.

@teoborschberg Hmm, I was exploring different MCP tools and capabilities and then found your product.
I was simply intrigued by your product, and I believe I got your idea.
The generated MCP server can query the endpoints (from the OpenAPI spec) and fetch the data from the remote server. Correct?
@O - AI coworker in Slack
@teoborschberg @chilarai Yep correct, you define which API endpoints you want to have as tools (ideally stray away from REST-ful structure and make them more human accessible, as per MCP best practices). Then each tool calls your API endpoint with the right HTTP method, and your API parameters/body are made available as tool arguments :)
Ogment enabled us to connect all our Endpoints at FINN without code into a holistic MCP landscape, which now powers all of us to chat with our operating system and receive high quality answers in no time.

@maxi_gebhard Love to hear it :) Really happy about your use case!

Great launch @teoborschberg
Does it integrate with Claude’s new toolchain as well or just ChatGPT?
@O - AI coworker in Slack
@kate_ramakaieva thanks! Absolutely compatible with Claude's toolchain!

Congrats on the launch, @teoborschberg @dtsbourg ! Got to know about this from @rohanrecommends . Interesting product though, curious how well the MCP Builder handle complex APIs with auth and permissions out of the box?
@O - AI coworker in Slack
@dtsbourg @rohanrecommends @harkirat_singh3777 thank you for your support and good question! Your API can be as complex as you want so long as it's REST (broader support soon). Then if your APIs are internal to your company, you can set your permissions on our platform already, giving the right level of access for your MCPs/endpoints. To put your own SSO in front of your MCP for external users, we will support that very soon, already working on it!
This is exactly what enterprises need to actually adopt AI at scale.
What stands out: the focus on enterprise auth (OAuth/SAML) and governance.
Many AI platforms build features first and worry about enterprise security later.
You're starting with security as the foundation.
Also, the MCP builder is a very convenient way to set everything up for a company.
Quick question - how are you handling per-user permissions when the MCP server accesses backend systems?
Does it respect the employee's actual role/permissions in Salesforce/Jira, or is it org-wide access?
Congrats on the launch! 🚀
Guys this looks awesome. I spent the final few months at my last start-up building MCPs for various enterprise apps -- I can't wait to try it! LFG 🚀 as they say!

Hey PH!
I’m another engineer behind the MCP Builder. Super excited to finally share this with everyone! 🤩
Can’t wait for a future where ChatGPT can talk to any web app out there, and we’re taking steps toward that.
Would love to hear your feedback or ideas on what we should improve or build next!
