What do you think? …

Hey Product Hunt! 👋 Really excited (and slightly nervous) to share my very first app with you all. I built Momotaro because I couldn't find a simple, beautiful focus timer on the App Store that felt calm and inviting—most felt either too aggressive or overly complicated. I just wanted something minimal that helps you pause, breathe, and focus. It's completely free, no strings attached. I'd love to hear what you think, feedback is incredibly welcome, especially from this community. Thanks for checking it out! 🙏

Does your app also offers e.g. streak records? (Something like GitHub or Duolingo have.)

I think it keeps people motivated to stick to their routines. :)

Laszlito
@busmark_w_nika yes! Accumulated focus time unlocks themes. Also you can check your streaks on the large widget. :)

@laszlito In that case, you nailed it :)

Wow, Momotaro looks gorgeous! I love the idea of unlocking themes as I focus. Wondering if the background colors subtly shift during the timer or stay static? Super curious!

Laszlito
@jaydev13 thank you! Yes they do shift, veeery subtly, also the themes have different hues based in the time of the day. Darker during the evening.

how customizable are the focus sessions and rewards? Can you tailor them to different types of work (deep focus vs quick tasks)
Laszlito
Thanks for your question. Not yet! But I am planning to add those if there is enough interest. How would you like to see this in the app?

Love it :) Please make a Mac app version. Following you closely!
