Hello Product Hunt! I’m Ali, and I'm a first-time solo founder with a background in Human Behavioral Biology (Stanford) & Service Design (Royal College of Art). I launched Lovewick because good relationships and marriages aren't just nice to have, folks! Research shows that the quality of our interpersonal relationships is more predictive of a long, happy life than social class, IQ, or even genes (Harvard Study of Adult Development). I saw a world full of dating apps to help us find love, but very little aside from therapy to help us keep it. Thus, the seed for Lovewick was planted! :) Furthermore, I'm so fascinated by modern love. In the US, we are getting married later or not at all, and there are more dual income, intercultural, interracial, long-distance, and LGBTQ+ couples than ever before. It's an exciting time, full of new opportunities as well as new challenges. That's why I've interviewed more than 100 couples (living together and long-distance, straight and queer, from a variety of cultural and religious backgrounds) in my attempt to make a playful, inclusive, valuable product that helps all couples grow and stay in love. Lovewick is a great experience. It’s very accessible and doesn’t demand too much time to get good results. My partner and I frequently turn to Lovewick if we find ourselves with 5 spare minutes on hand. Thanks for developing such a great product!
