What's great

So easy to set up. They've done a great job of keeping the user experience simple, yet not limiting the functionality. Very intuitive. If you're I start up. This is the perfect email product to use for your newsletter and to send product emails, i.e., onboarding.

What needs improvement

The high-level navigation. While it's really easy to get started, sometimes navigating back and forth between a campaign, your mailing list, and a segment is a little confusing.

vs Alternatives

It's built for SaaS specifically. One platform for both our newsletter and product/lifecycle emails (welcome sequences to new signups, trial nudges, onboarding).

I use Loops primarily to send transactional emails to my customers. Incredibly easy to set up, good developer tools (I connect seamlessly using n8n), reliable service and generous free tier for early stage start-ups. Customer service support on a Sunday - I'm impressed. Highly recommended!

Honestly, my biggest take away from working with chris/adam through the loops trial is that they just get what i'm trying to do. We (Clerk) migrated over from intercom to ortto (formerly autopilot) and are now on loops for our changelogs and outbound email campaigns. The editing experience is much smoother, the quality of support is ridiculously high and the future roadmap plans will enable me to bring a higher level of design and polish to our emails without having to jenga with these archaic tools. Love it so far!
