This is a really interesting concept, I can immediately think of a lot of use-cases that need exactly this tool. I recognize that there is some text diffing going on, but how does it handle visual diffs with sites that are quite dynamic with videos, animations or even responsive layouts that change the layout of the page? I can imagine there are some frustrating edge cases!

@adamschroder Hey Adam, great question! We actually wait for all content to load before taking screenshots to reduce issues with animations and responsive layouts. Ads can be tricky, so I use an ad blocker to keep them out. The diff coefficient is tuned to ignore tiny changes while still catching significant updates like image changes, which are key for monitoring competitors for example. Down the line, I'm thinking about making these settings more specific to each case (either using AI under the hood to identify the best setup for you or letting users define that - super conscious about keeping it simple for non-tech users though). At the moment, we don’t handle websites that require login credentials, mainly because it involves several security considerations - like handling credentials, sensitive information, and also because allowing interactions would open a door for distributed spam or deny of service through our servers. It’s something I might explore in the future, but I want to make sure it’s done right. Regarding the multi-site comparison, I’ve considered a feature for comparing your website against competitors to highlight key differences and give you insights, but it's still on the drawing board.
