@Kinetiq With some of the tools I've tried, the final rendered output often looks a little different from the preview. How have you addressed this in Kinetiq?
@chinmayi_r This is exactly the problem that made us build on a deterministic engine, so glad you asked.
The preview-versus-render gap in most tools comes from the preview and the final output being produced by two different pipelines: a lightweight approximation in the browser, then a separate render farm that interprets things slightly differently. Fonts shift, timing drifts, colours change.
Kinetiq avoids this at the architecture level. Every video is HTML rendered on Hyperframe, the deterministic video-as-code engine. Deterministic means the same input always produces the same frame-perfect output, whether it is the preview in your canvas or the final 4K export from the cloud render queue. There is one source of truth, not two pipelines that hopefully agree.
On top of that, every render passes through an agentic QA loop that lints, heals and scores the output before you ever see it, so issues get caught and fixed by the system rather than discovered by you after a 10-minute export.
Short version: what you preview is what you get, by design rather than by luck.

Yes, and this is actually one of the core design principles behind Kinetiq.
We noticed the same problem with many creative tools—the preview looks great, but the final render ends up being slightly different because the preview and rendering pipelines aren't identical.
We wanted to eliminate that uncertainty.
Under the hood, @Kinetiq is built on a deterministic "Video as Code" rendering engine. Every video is represented as a structured HTML composition with explicit timing, layout, and animation definitions. Animations are driven by a deterministic timeline rather than the browser's wall clock, so the composition renders the exact same frames every time.
In practical terms, what you preview is what you render. The downloaded MP4 is designed to match the preview frame-for-frame, so you can confidently fine-tune your video before hitting Render without worrying about unexpected shifts in timing, layout, or animation.
We believe this predictability is especially important for teams working on client deliverables, product launches, and brand assets. It makes reviewing, approving, and iterating much more reliable because you're always looking at the same output that will ultimately be exported.

@pratapbehera Creative production usually involves multiple stakeholders, approvals, and rounds of feedback, which can become a major bottleneck. Have you built anything into Kinetiq to simplify this collaboration process?
@sonali_nayak3 Honest answer: dedicated collaboration features like approval workflows and in-app commenting are not built yet.
They are on the roadmap, because you are right that this is where creative production actually slows down.
What works today: once a video renders, you can share it with colleagues through a shareable link, gather feedback wherever your team already talks, and then simply tell the Director what to change. "Make the intro punchier, swap the second scene, soften the colours per the brand team" is a normal conversation with Kinetiq, and because videos are code, revisions re-render fast rather than starting from scratch.
In practice this collapses the worst part of the feedback loop, which is not collecting opinions but the days it takes to act on them. A round of stakeholder feedback becomes minutes of iteration rather than another week with an agency.
But native multi-stakeholder review, approvals and versioning as first-class features: coming, not shipped. Would genuinely love to hear what your approval flow looks like, since we are designing this now.

This was actually one of the key issues we wanted to address in our product design
Our team has spent years working with studio agencies, in-house creative teams, and marketing organizations, so we built Kinetiq around real creative workflows. Since ideas typically go through multiple rounds of feedback, approvals, and variations, teams often struggle to keep track of the latest or approved version.
To address this, @Kinetiq has comprehensive versioning built in. Every meaningful edit creates a new version (v0, v1, v2...), making it easy to track the evolution of the creative.
You'll also see version numbers consistently across Draft, Render, and Download. This makes it immediately clear whether you're looking at the latest draft, the version that was rendered, or the file that was actually downloaded.
If you make changes after rendering, Kinetiq automatically indicates that your downloaded file is no longer the latest version, helping teams avoid accidentally sharing or approving an outdated cut.
Our goal is simple: let teams spend less time managing versions and approvals, and more time creating great videos.
Congrats on the launch! That 'ten pixel change stays a ten pixel change' bit is the thing diffusion tools can't touch, so building on a deterministic render engine makes sense to me. Do you guys pin or cache the first authoring pass? Or is the variation there kind of the point?

Great question! It's actually a combination of both.
We want variation during the first authoring pass because exploring different creative directions is part of the process. The same brief can legitimately produce different layouts, pacing, and motion.
But once you've picked a direction, we pin that composition. From that point onwards, every edit builds on the same underlying composition instead of regenerating everything from scratch. So if you change a headline, move a logo by 10 pixels, or tweak the timing just before rendering, Kinetiq updates only those changes. It doesn't reinterpret the entire video through AI again.
If you want a completely different creative take, you simply generate a new composition. If you're refining the chosen one, deterministic rendering ensures the preview, edits, and final render all stay perfectly aligned. That's a deliberate design choice behind @Kinetiq
There are quite a few tools in this space. In my opinion, the biggest differentiator is the quality of the output. How have you designed the system to consistently generate high-quality videos?
@new_user___1812026ac458e48bc866e15 Completely agree, and this is exactly the bet we made: in a crowded space, output quality is the moat, not features. So we designed for it at four layers.
Quality is authored, not sampled. Most AI video tools generate pixels and hope. Kinetiq authors videos as code on a deterministic engine, which means every element (typography, spacing, timing, motion curves) is precise and controllable rather than approximated. The floor is set by craft: our 130+ templates are professionally designed motion systems, and even brand-new templates inherit that design language, whether built by the Director or learned from sample videos you provide.
Every render passes through an agentic QA loop. Videos are linted, healed and scored before you ever see them. Layout issues, timing problems and visual defects get caught and fixed by the system, not discovered by you. A video that scores poorly gets improved, not delivered.
The right model for each job. Director mode orchestrates multiple frontier models and routes each step (research, scripting, ideation, QA) to the model best suited for it, with a fallback chain behind that. Quality does not depend on one model having a good day.
Consistency comes from your brand, enforced. Quality at video number one is easy; quality at video number two hundred is where tools fall apart. Kinetiq captures your brand kit from a URL and applies it to everything, so the two-hundredth video is as on-brand as the first.
And when you disagree with the system's judgement, you have four editing surfaces (chat, canvas, properties, source) to override it. The QA loop sets the floor; your taste sets the ceiling.

@Kinetiq is built on top of Hyperframe by @HeyGen , an open deterministic HTML video-as-code rendering engine. The idea: write HTML, render video. Deterministic means the same input always produces the same frame-perfect output, which is what makes video programmable and agent-friendly in the first place. Everything Kinetiq adds sits above that foundation.
The AI layer. Director mode orchestrates multiple frontier models@Claude by Anthropic @OpenAI @Gemini and @Kimi routed through native integrations and OpenRouter as fallback with a multi-provider fallback chain. Each step of the pipeline (research, ideation, scripting, QA) gets the model best suited to it. The agentic QA loop then lints, heals and scores every render before you see it.
The media layer. @FFmpeg handles processing and encoding, exports up to 4K in any aspect ratio. @ElevenLabs and Laria by Google powers premium multilingual voiceover, alongside built-in TTS and Whisper for transcription. The Director orchestrates @Anime.js 3JS, @pixi @WebGPU to drive the motion itself, which is why the animations feel hand-crafted rather than generated.

Most video tools hand you a blank canvas or a prompt box. Both put the burden on you: you have to know the structure, the pacing, the script, the visual language, before you have made anything.
Director mode flips that. It works the way a real creative director does.
It starts with a conversation. You brief it in plain language: what the video is for, who it is for, what you want people to feel or do. It asks the questions a director would ask.
It researches. Your product, your market, your audience. If you are launching a fintech feature, it understands the space before it writes a word.
It reasons and ideates. Narrative structure, scene breakdown, pacing, visual concepts. You see the thinking, not just the output, and you can redirect at any point before a single frame is rendered.
