With all the excitement around AI-generated images, videos, and agents, I feel motion graphics remains one of the most underexplored areas in the AI era.
Yet, it's one of the most powerful ways to communicate ideas. Motion graphics can make products easier to understand, explain complex concepts, showcase features, and create more engaging marketing content. Their applications go far beyond product launch videos.

Video as code is how Kinetiq works under the hood, not what you are handed at the end.
Every video is represented as HTML on Hyperframe, our open deterministic rendering engine. That representation is what makes the videos programmable: agents can author them, variables can personalise them, and the same input always renders the same frame-perfect output.
But the final delivery is a standard video file. You export MP4, WebM, MOV or PNG sequences, up to 4K, in any aspect ratio. Ready for YouTube, socials, ads or your product page, no code involved.
The HTML layer is there if you want it. One of the four editing modes is the source itself, so developers can tweak a video the way they would tweak a webpage, and the REST API and MCP server work at that same layer. Most users never touch it and simply chat with the Director instead.
So: code-native on the inside, plain video files on the outside. Best of both.

'Video as Code' doesn't mean you're limited to getting HTML as the final output. It means the underlying source of your video is structured, editable HTML, which gives you much more flexibility than a traditional video project.
Depending on who you are, Kinetiq lets you work with the output in different ways.

@Kinetiq One concern with AI-generated creative content is that everything can start looking similar over time. How do you ensure the outputs remain original and creatively diverse?
@sneha_soni3 This is the right concern, and the sameness problem has a specific cause worth naming: most AI creative tools sample from the same latent average. Every output drifts towards what the model thinks a "good video" looks like, which is why everything starts feeling like the same video in different colours.
Kinetiq is structured differently in three ways.
Your brand is the anchor, not the model's taste. Kinetiq captures your brand kit from your URL: colours, fonts, voice. The starting point for every video is your identity, not a generic aesthetic. Two companies briefing the same concept get two visibly different videos.
Inspiration comes from you, not just from us. Beyond the 130+ built-in templates, you can show Kinetiq sample videos you admire and it builds new templates from that inspiration. Your reference points shape the creative language, so your library diverges from everyone else's over time rather than converging.
The videos are authored, not generated. Because everything is motion design as code, there is no diffusion model imposing a house style on every frame. The Director reasons through each brief individually: narrative, pacing, visual concepts. And you can redirect that thinking before anything renders, or reach into any of the four editing modes and change whatever you like. Creative control never leaves you.
Honest caveat: no tool can manufacture taste. What we can do is make sure the system amplifies your creative identity instead of averaging it away. That is the design principle behind all of the above.

Again a very valid concern. One of the biggest fears with AI is the flattening of creativity, especially if you use AI without enough brand personalization. Over time, everything can start looking and feeling the same. That's exactly where the smart agentic system under the hood comes in.
Under the hood, @Kinetiq uses an agentic creative system, not just a prompt sent to an LLM. Every generation starts with a high-entropy creative seed and goes through a rotating art direction and structure engine. So even if two users provide the same brief, they won't get carbon-copy outputs.
More importantly, the variation isn't random. It comes from deliberate design choices such as layout, color palette, motion language, scene structure, and animation styles. The goal is for every video to feel fresh and intentional, not just different for the sake of being different.
We also built capability-aware generation into the system. @Kinetiq doesn't simply pick one animation style and reuse it everywhere. It reasons about what each scene actually needs and chooses the right motion technology, whether that's real 3D, vector animations, particle effects, or other rendering techniques. And if you explicitly ask for a particular style or technology, Kinetiq uses that instead of approximating it with a generic animation.
Finally, brand plays a huge role. If you bring your website or brand assets, Kinetiq captures your visual identity and uses that as a foundation. So instead of AI making every brand look the same, it helps amplify what makes your brand unique while still producing fresh creative ideas every time.
'ai video moved the queue, didn't remove it' is the honest line. when one master spawns hundreds of variants, does a human re-approve each or does it carry?

We actually designed @Kinetiq seeing around how creative teams already work. Our team has spent years working with agencies, creative studios, and in-house marketing teams, so we built the product to mirror that workflow instead of trying to replace it.
You make one master, lock the message, structure, and brand rules, then generate variants from that system instead of remaking each version from scratch.
For the master creative, human is the main approval point. Variants inherit that structure, so teams do not need a full creative re-approval on every single one unless something materially changes, like copy, offer, legal language, region-specific claims, or brand exceptions.
We have a module called 'VAR' -composition variables , where this can be done, I have attached the screenshot.
The workflow is:
-Build and approve one master
-Turn it into a template
-Define the VARS you want to swap, like name, city, offer, CTA, product shot, language, logo
-Fill those vars in the studio in a free text way
If number of variants is at a very big scale, Automation via API/MCP can also be enabled

@andrewzakonovA fresh human approval on every variant is not required. A person typically approves the master setup and rules, then the spawned variants follow that unless something falls outside those rules or needs an exception.

@hariharan_v1 Honest answer: Kinetiq is not a traditional editor for raw footage, and we deliberately did not build one. It is a motion design studio, so its native ground is programmatic motion graphics rather than cutting live-action rushes on a timeline.
That said, there are a few ways existing footage and assets come into play:
Reel editing: It can do it. I am currently editing one video. Will share the output here.
Video beautify. Upload an existing video and Kinetiq enhances it while keeping your voice intact: polish, pacing and presentation improved without re-recording.
Screenshot-to-video. Product screenshots become polished motion demos, which covers a lot of what people actually reach for an editor to do.
Sample videos as inspiration. Show Kinetiq a few videos you admire and it builds a new template from that style, so your existing content can seed new on-brand videos.
Assets inside motion graphics. Your clips, images and screen recordings can live inside a Kinetiq video, wrapped in motion design, titles and brand treatment.
So if the goal is "make this footage into something publishable and on-brand," Kinetiq often gets you there. If the goal is multi-track editing of an hour of raw footage, a traditional NLE is still the right tool, and we would rather tell you that than pretend otherwise.

What it can do with your existing content: enhance an uploaded video while keeping your voice intact (we call it video beautify), turn product screenshots into motion demos, use your clips and images as assets inside motion graphics videos, and learn from sample videos you admire to build new on-brand templates.
So "polish this and make it publishable" is very much in scope. "Edit an hour of rushes" is a job for an NLE, and we would rather be upfront about that than overpromise.
@Kinetiq Rendering rich motion graphics videos often takes a long time, and failed renders can be frustrating. Have you made any improvements to make rendering faster or more reliable?
@nisarg_patel15 Both pain points shaped the architecture, so yes.
On reliability. Two things do the heavy lifting. First, the engine itself: Hyperframe is deterministic, so a video that previews correctly renders correctly. A whole class of "it worked in preview, then the render failed" simply does not exist when there is one pipeline rather than two. Second, the agentic QA loop: every video is linted, healed and scored before and during render, so the system catches and fixes issues rather than letting a job die 90% of the way through and handing you an error.
On speed and resilience. Renders run on a persistent cloud render queue on serverless infrastructure, which means jobs scale out in parallel rather than queuing behind each other, nothing is lost if you close your browser, and interrupted jobs resume rather than restart. You brief the Director, get on with your day, and the video is ready when you return.
There is also a structural advantage worth naming: because videos are code rather than diffusion output, rendering is composition and encoding rather than frame-by-frame generation. That is inherently faster and more predictable than generative video rendering, and it is deterministic, so re-renders of an edited video only cost what changed.
Failed renders being frustrating is exactly right, which is why our design goal was not "fail gracefully" but "make failure structurally rare."

Rich motion graphics are computationally intensive, and long render times or failed renders can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you're working on multiple iterations.
Rather than pretending rendering is instantaneous, we focused on making the overall rendering experience reliable and unobtrusive.
Renders happen server-side, so once you hit Render, you can continue working on another video, switch projects, or even close the app. The render queue keeps running in the background, and your completed videos are ready when you come back.
We've also built a persistent render queue, so you can line up multiple renders without waiting for each one to finish. Every job is tracked independently with live progress, and once it's complete, it becomes its own downloadable output.
Reliability was equally important. If a render gets interrupted or fails, it doesn't stop the rest of the queue. The remaining jobs continue processing, and the affected job can simply be re-run with a single click instead of forcing you to restart the entire batch.
We also wanted to make render management effortless. Every render shows live progress, and once it's complete, it automatically becomes a downloadable asset. At every stage, you'll have all the controls you need right there. You can Download the finished video, Re-run a failed or interrupted render, or Cancel a render that's currently in progress.
Our philosophy has been simple. Rendering may take time, but it shouldn't take your attention. We want creators to stay focused on creating while @Kinetiq reliably handles the heavy lifting in the background.
