@alexander_ostapenko Interesting, do you propose to add an option in the context menu (on right mouse click) in chrome with which you can save/insert websites in the extension's new tab page? Or did I misunderstand you completely?
@k_ivanow
User side view:
1. Open some site (e.g. facebook.com)
2. Click on extension icon
3. Window divided on to parts. Left part - facebook, right part empty page.
@k_ivanow ok, good luck with it ;) I see your extension becoming more popular)
Can you suggest which way of promotion chrome extension seems more productive for you?
@alexander_ostapenko If I have to rate them
#1 - Product Hunt (by far)
#2 - pitching your plugin to tech oriented blogs (after Product Hunt, blogs started writing about it, even without pitching it to them)
#3 - lots of subredits - r/SideProject, r/Chrome, treads in subreddit, for giving mutual feedback, etc.
Reddit allowed to get initial bump in the user count and also, showed pretty well, which part of the plugin weren't perceived the way I thought about them. Things often are not as easily understood by users, as the developer believes them to be.
@jasonology To be fair, Chrome has the highest market share according to every statistic I have found. Converting it to Firefox as well will probably be easy, considering the fact that MDN have better documentation that that of Chrome.
What browser did you had in mind, when saying that is only for chrome?

@k_ivanow I use Firefox, Safari and sometimes Opera. I just like having some choice and avoiding Google products if possible.
@jasonology Fair enough. However I made that plugin for a couple of weekends and after my "work hours". It is at a sort of proof of concept stage. If there is enough interest in it, I would make it for Firefox as well and I would probably follow up with opera and Safari (eventually, since I don't have a mac, with some VM)

Onboaridng is super rough! What do you do after hitting the plus? how do you navigate etc? interesting idea!!

@k_invanow I like the concept, but it's quite difficult to use right now. Pre-made 4-split and 2-split workspaces would be a nice touch. I'm failing alot with manually resizing each window to the same equal dimensions.

Great idea! Will revisit this when the display issues get corrected.
