Most free PDF sites upload the file and ask you to trust a deletion policy. imissfiles runs in the tab. There is no upload endpoint. Open DevTools → Network, drop a file in, and you can watch that nothing the size of your document leaves. Good at: extract the original JPEGs out of a PDF (not a page screenshot), photo of a table → Excel, merge/compress/unlock, HEIC → JPG, scan to PDF. Not Acrobat. Not layout-perfect PDF-to-Word. No account.
