Hi Product Hunt š
I'm Boris, the founder of Holdy Lab.
I built it around one observation: most traders can tell you what went wrong only after the trade is over, and P&L alone does not show whether a decision followed a plan or an impulse. Journals record what you remember. I wanted something that measures what you actually did.
Holdy Lab has two parts:
⢠Trader Day: a free, controlled simulated market session. You trade with no real money, then get a debrief that compares your decisions with your own baseline: risk after a loss, entries after the move, fast re-entry, a losing position that outlived its risk limit. Each finding states how many observations stand behind it, and you get one small drill to try next.
⢠Trade Analyzer: upload a trade history file from an exchange and see behavior patterns in trades you have already made. The file is processed in memory and is not stored, only the result is kept.
What it is not: it does not give signals or financial advice, it does not predict markets, and a simulation is not live trading.
We are early, and I'd like honest feedback on two things:
1. Does comparing you against your own baseline feel more useful than generic "be disciplined" advice?
2. Would you upload a trade file to an analyzer like this, and what would make you trust it?
If you have struggled to turn a one-time insight about your trading into a habit, I'd especially like to hear what would bring you back after each session.
Thank you for taking a look.
