How did you train the model?
@stargiraffe We used a mix of SFT and Self distillation to bring out the most human-like behaviours of the model
@stargiraffe @luka234 Where did the SFT data come from: real human writing like emails and texts, or writing you collected or commissioned? And in the self-distillation step, how did you pick which outputs counted as more human-like? Was that human raters, a classifier, or the model judging itself?
@stargiraffe @koistya Most of the data was generated synthetically by us, and the big chunk of non-synthetic data was sourced from world-class Public-domain books and art. for the human-likeness we had human testers aswell as frontier OSS models judging it.
This is the best writing tool I've come across so far. I've been using it for copy drafts at work, and it's the first one where my team sends things back with barely anything to change.

Fantastic writing tool. I tried it out because someone on Reddit said it performs on par with Fable 5.1 for writing tasks and you know what, it might be even better.

@luka234 I'd love to see a Hemmingway version of Claude 'Projects' but maybe focused on writing styles so I can define my writing style for corporate comms vs. say, blogs. And to have feedback on outputs improve them and refine them over time

Fantastic app. In a world of slop Hemmingway AI is gourmet. The writing it co creates is natural in tone, human… It’s reads like it was written by an English lit student.
