Hey Producthunters,
Hangry is a simple tool that chooses where you should go to eat today. #1stWorldProblems
I made it in my endeavour to actually finish projects that I start working on. This is my first attempt ... starting small and will hopefully continue with releasing bigger things in the future. 🖖
@chrismessina Uber integration ✅
I would love to hook UberEATS directly into Hangry so users could make orders through it, but as far as I can tell it's not yet available. Also I'll try to sort out an iOS app in the near future so I can implement that really nice Uber button to request a ride and more. 😊
@roks0n 4sq 100%, i definitely care about the quality of food, if it's things nearby anyways i can just walk there / figure out how to get there myself

Cool idea, but there's no way to get back to the map on mobile without refreshing. Filters would be nice, like eat in and take out.
@jstrellner thanks for the feedback, really appreciate it! 😊 I agree, it's super annoying that you can't go back to the map. I intend to fix that by tomorrow actually. 🤓 Filters are still in my backlog, I need to see what sorts of information is available in Google Places (which is where all the data is coming from) or if I have to use other 3rd party APIs and best way to link these different data sources together.
I must have some sort of phobia when comes to picking restaurants I've never tried or without recommendations. Hopefully this will cure that haha! Congrats on finishing the project. @roks0n

Love this. I am not sure if the ability to go to feet / miles from meters is in your timeline but it would be helpful for us Americans. Other than suggesting eating at 7-11 occasionally (Joke, Google Places API is not friendly about this) super awesome and genuinely useful. Aside from what others mentioned about filters, this rocks.
@koolkoder between all restaurants atm. Lots of possibilities with extending this with filters, even a price filter. Would you like that? Was also thinking of storing places that were recommended to a person in cache and not recommending them until going through all the ones that weren't recommended yet.
@roks0n Yes, I think a price filter would be fantastic. That way I (or anyone else) isn't constantly having to choose a different place because it is too expensive or cheap for what they were looking for.

@roks0n Tripadvisor or similiar rating site would be great to integrate. @koolkoder
