Hey, Product Hunt! 🎉
Have you ever wanted to join a hackathon but weren't sure where to start? Or perhaps you found yourself lost at your first hackathon, unable to finish your project? If so, you should check out Hackpost Guide, a free, open-source web resource to help YOU ace your next hackathon!
Growing up, I've always loved hackathons - from participating in them to organizing them. I love the communal spirit, the intensity, and the overall satisfaction from creating new products and making new friends. However, one common challenge I've noticed is that many beginners struggle, particularly at smaller, local hackathons that lack adequate resources and workshops. As such, there's often a gap in accessible, practical guidance that can make or break the hackathon experience, especially for young first-timers and people who don't have as much exposure to hacking.
That’s why I decided to create Hackpost Guide. Hackpost.guide is a free, open-source platform dedicated to demystifying the hackathon experience, especially for first-timers. It's designed as a one-stop resource hub where the community creates the content for the community. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned hacker, here you can find everything to help you improve (as more people add posts).
To get started, create an account and start browsing!
If you're a hackathon veteran, we encourage you to share your expertise by creating posts and guides on our platform. Your knowledge can pave the way for newcomers and help elevate their skills. Dive into Hackpost Guide, contribute your insights, and join a community dedicated to mutual success. Check it out, create your account, and start exploring at www.hackpost.guide.
Let’s democratize hackathon participation together! This is my first ever ProductHunt launch, so I appreciate any feedback. If you have questions or suggestions, share your thoughts, and if you love what I'm building, please upvote and leave a comment!
