Mac got Gemini back in April. Windows took a little longer, but it’s here now.
Alt + Space carries over the same nice idea: Gemini shows up over whatever you’re doing without turning a quick question into another browser tab.
A few months later, there’s more sitting behind that shortcut. You can hand longer work to Gemini Spark, pull from Gmail and Drive, or jump into Nano Banana and Gemini Omni from the full app.
Windows is catching up now, with more of the native desktop stuff still on the way!
