@eyalavinoamn Foxy chose your launch out of today's batch 🦊 — showing a freelancer their real take-home before they send the invoice, so they price in the scope creep instead of eating it, is a sharp and underrated wedge. More than an upvote: here's a launch video built from your own product — no watermark, yours to post anywhere:

@saulfleischman Thank you so much! You have no idea...I take that back...of course you must know what this means to us on launch day! Saul, you're a real mensch. Thankyou, thank you, thank you! We are so excited to be launching this today! At age 67 (David, Eyal's business partner), I'm having the time of my life having never coded anything before...it's such a new world, Saul!

@eyalavinoamn I'll be sixty in a couple months. Coding for the first time, myself! Besides FoxPlug.com, I have getfoxchat.com, FoxAPIs.com. This is after 15 years of laeading the RiteKit team - in which I did zero coding...
@saulfleischman Yes Saul, it is so cool to be doing this later in life, bringing to bear all my business experience. It's fun, challenging but nothing ever comes up where there isn't a solution with a bit of help from AI. Freepaycalc is labor of love and once it's up and running when we're at 2.0, we have two other utility sites that we want to synergistically weave into this one as "sister" sites. Truly, thank you for that video. I have already used it on X and LI in that clever way where my main posts don't have links and then I comment underneath a screenshot of your video where I put the links to your video and this launch today on PH. I'm having the time of my life!
We're LIVE!
Hey Product Hunt!
I’m Eyal, and along with my business partner David, we are the makers behind freepaycalc.
We come from the traditional business world, and as we watched the exploding global freelance economy, we noticed a glaring problem: solo operators are getting quietly crushed by hidden structural leaks.
Between unmanaged client scope creep, trapped capital from invoice delays, and predatory international transaction stacking, independent creators routinely lose over 6% of their gross income before their money ever gets deposited in their bank accounts.
We wanted to change that. David, who is 67 and has never coded a day in his life, partnered up with Google Gemini as our engineering co-pilot and Hostinger Horizons. Together as a team, we built Freepaycalc—a suite of 10 zero-fluff, mathematical utility calculator-tools designed to give freelancers a strict financial true north.
There are no paywalls, no gated blocks on the tools, and no tracking scripts. It is a completely free, open-access dashboard to help you stress-test your cash runway, optimize cross-border fee cascades, and generate data-backed change order premiums.
We also put together a 28-page Freelancer's Field Guide to map these exact financial defensive frameworks. You can grab a spot on the waitlist right from the dashboard.
David and I are sitting right here in the comments today. We would love to hear your feedback, your cash-flow stories, and how we can make these tools even sharper for your business.
Stop working for free. Let's protect your margins!
finally something that handles the Stripe + Wise fee split without me doing math at midnight. The Client Friction Multiplier is cheeky and kind of genius.
@eminenv9f You have no idea how much I appreciate your comment! We are so excited to be giving this to the freelancer/dev/maker community. We know we're onto to something BIG and you should know that this is the very first comment that we are responding to on this our first launch day and our first day in public. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you get lots of regular use out of the free tools and calculators we've created just for you and the entire world of freelancers!
Finally tried this after a client stalled a contract over wire fees. The Client Friction Multiplier is genuinely useful for pricing difficult accounts, and I love that it has zero ads. Saved it to my bookmarks already.
@lapak93209 Really glad we could help you with that one. Lina. As far as the zero ads thing...we are patiently building organic traffic in several ways between now and January 2028, about 18 months of zero ads and getting the site AI optimized...there's nothing like it and if you just Google freepaycalc without the dot com, you'll see our early positioning. Once traffic is 10x to what we actually need, we will apply for AdSense as our long-term revenue scheme for the site. Freelancers don't ever have to buy anything including our annual almanac, The Freepaycal Freelancer's Guide (forever price of USD 14; it will never increase like Arizona Tea is still $1!) that will come out every Fourth of July, American Independence Day, to celebrate the freelancer, dev and maker business lifestyle and catalog all the payment changes, legal and other changes that happened over the last year, just like the old Farmer's Almanac used to do for aggies and ranchers. Did you know there are 1.47 freelancers in the world right now and that's compounding 18% year over year! The reason we are waiting for AdSense is that we want heavy hitter multinational fintec bidding for site's ad space. First, this is not spammy and it's a big upvote in our site's prestige to only have the creme d' la creme of finance advertising on our site. But, it's a ways off. Eventually, we will also offer both basic and advanced interactive courses for freelancers to up their game. I'm so happy to be doing this at age 67. In 2026 with vibe coding and AI, you definitely can teach an old dog new tricks! Thanks for coming by!!!
Finally a fee calculator that doesn't feel like it was designed for accountants. The Client Friction Multiplier is a clever touch.
