What do you think? …

I’ve spent over 600 days developing Fread, driven by my passion for perfect UI and user experience. Fread is a meticulously crafted Mastodon client that supports almost every feature you’d expect, with seamless UI and interaction. I’m committed to continuous development, with plans to support more protocols like Bluesky in the future. Best of all, it’s completely free! often wonder what makes the perfect MicroBlog app. Eventually, I decided to build it myself. Fread is my attempt to create an app that, in an ideal world, supports all MicroBlog protocols and unifies all interactions. I believe we don’t need many complicated apps—just one that does it all. Imagine a day when you can browse posts from all platforms in a single app, with the best possible user experience. Wouldn’t that be amazing? That’s the vision behind Fread.

Hey Ke, Can users create separate feeds for different topics or interests? How do you handle the differences in content format between Mastodon posts and RSS articles? Congrats on the launch!
@kyrylosilin You can create a post that includes Masotodn users and RSS, select the feeds according to your interests and add them to the same mixed feeds flow. For the format differences, Fread has done some processing to ensure that they are displayed consistently on the homepage. In the content details page, Fread will do special processing for RSS content. As you can see, the details page of RSS content is completely different from the details page of Mammoth content.

Another app trying to be the all-in-one solution, we've seen this before with Hootsuite and Feedly, not sure we need another, plus they always start free and end up charging later, sounds like a tall order to me, good luck with that
