🚨Meta Says No to EU’s AI Code — Innovation or Instigation?

Big AI news in Europe: Meta just said no thanks to the EU s voluntary AI Code of Practice.

This framework was designed to help companies align with the upcoming EU AI Act, one of the most ambitious AI regulations we've seen globally. It s not legally binding (yet), but signing could give companies a head start on compliance and reduce legal friction down the road.

Meta's stance?
They say the EU is "overreaching" and creating legal uncertainty that could choke innovation.

Their Global Affairs Chief, Joel Kaplan, didn t hold back: "Europe is heading down the wrong path on AI."

Introducing Breaks in NightScreen Mode

I've added a new Break Mode feature to NightScreen Mode extension which allows you to set screen time reminder based on your specified time. So for example you turn on the Break mode and set the time for 30 minutes. After every 30 minutes, you'll see a notification nudging you to take a break. It's something I believe is necessary to the purpose of this extension which is to avoid eye strains.
