The free tier with unlimited responses is incredibly generous, and the API and webhooks make it easy to integrate with WordPress sites and other platforms I work with daily. The new AI features for form generation and smart docs are a great addition. Highly recommend for anyone needing a flexible form and workflow solution.

What needs improvement

The UI could use some polish, especially in the mobile app experience, it feels a bit rough around the edges compared to the desktop version. More pre-built templates tailored for specific industries like e-commerce, real estate, or consulting would be a great addition. For developers like myself, more advanced customization options for form styling (like custom CSS injection) would give us finer control over how forms look on client websites. Also, expanding the integration ecosystem to include more niche platforms would make it even more versatile.

vs Alternatives

I had looked at Typeform, Google Forms, and JotForm before settling on Formaloo. Typeform is great for UX but the pricing becomes steep quickly for multiple forms. Google Forms is too basic for professional client work. JotForm has a lot of features but can feel overwhelming. Formaloo struck the best balance, powerful enough for complex workflows, easy enough to use, and the free tier meant I could test it thoroughly before committing. The ability to handle unlimited responses on the free plan was a huge selling point for my client projects.

Mostly small UI polish stuff. There were some quirks in the past that the team has already fixed, but a few minor ones still pop up here and there, nothing that gets in the way of actually using the product, just little details that could use refinement. Honestly, the team ships fast and clearly listens to feedback, so I'd expect these to get sorted over time.

It's not just forms. Google Forms is a form tool, full stop. Formaloo is a no-code platform, you can build dashboards, client portals, CRMs, surveys with conditional logic, calculation forms, even chatbots. Once you outgrow basic forms (and most people do), Google Forms hits a wall fast.

And when I've hit a bump in the road, their support team has been like a dependable neighbor, always ready to lend a hand.

I love Formaloo. There are a lot of form builders out there, but Formaloo is changing the game. They're really giving you the ability to create much more than just forms with their app. Plus, I love the look and feel of their forms from end-user's perspective.

What needs improvement

Continue to make the data and analytics reports easy to visualize.

vs Alternatives

Typeform

I decided to use Formaloo over Typeform because of the amount of features for the money. And it looks just as beautiful, if not better, for the end user.

I built quite a few prototypes with formaloo before AI coding was prevalent. And while it's easier to develop prototypes today, you still need a strong backbone for your data. That's why I prefer using and referring my clients to formaloo for launching their first touchpoints. It's robust and customizable while being quite accessible

Unusable Software and Unresponsive Support I’ve been using Formaloo to create interactive forms, but since the recent update to their version 3 dashboard, the app has become unusable. All of the forms I’ve created are now uneditable and unviewable—they've essentially turned into empty folders with the same names. It's been over a month since I reported this issue to the support team, and unfortunately, it remains unresolved. The support team is slow to respond, often taking days, only to provide links to support articles that don’t address the issue. This frustrating cycle has repeated multiple times with no resolution in sight. As it stands, the software is unreliable and unusable, and the support is equally inadequate. I cannot recommend Formaloo to others in its current state.

I've been using Formaloo for some months now to set up a wish list sign-up form for my startup. The reason why I chose Formaloo over other options was the opportunity to use the product for free without time limits to test it out, but also because of its variety of functionalities beyond creating forms. I liked that it's super easy to embed a form to my site with an iframe. For me, it makes a lot of sense to use Formaloo and services alike instead of building everything from scratch ourselves in the team. So far I am happy and I will continue using Formaloo in the future!

More than anything else, I find Formaloo's Lego-like appeal appealing to me. This is the feature that makes Formaloo like a toolbox. A toolbox that will be used for many tasks. With Formaloo, you can create an answer that fits every need. Another positive feature of Formaloo is its simplicity of use. You can easily do many complex tasks. Simply a few clicks! Formaloo's ready-made templates covered a lot of work and even gave us new ideas for business development. In our work, Formaloo has become a tool that we deal with every day and has increased our speed and efficiency in many areas. Many tools still need to be connected to Formaloo. These connections will make Formaloo's power more and more. By adding integrations to Formaloo, we can build more powerful tools. Before using Formaloo, we had to check every survey we do with difficulty, and after completing the survey, a lot of time was spent entering and checking the data. But by using the possibility of Formaloo survey and Formaloo CDP, we were able to create an integrated tool for all surveys and profiles of our users.
