Reviewers largely praise Floot for making full app building accessible to non-coders, with an intuitive interface, strong support, solid performance, and features like visual editing that speed iteration. Several say it handles prompts and errors better than alternatives and helps them ship real projects quickly. But recurring complaints point to instability: the AI can make unwanted changes, lose context, burn through quotas, and make rollback awkward. Some also flag pricing friction, limited advanced customization, and serious concerns about workflow, transparency, and deployment safety.
Congratulations!! What is your business model? Excited to see where this is going
@joao_filipe1 we charge subscription for building + maintaining and hosting overage for high hosting usage
@joao_filipe1 thank you João! what Yuj said — simple subscription, and your own ChatGPT/Claude does the AI thinking so we never charge for credits. excited too 😊
@joao_filipe1 and since your own agent does the AI work, we never mark up tokens, which keeps the plans simple
@joao_filipe1 we're focused also on making building streamlined within the ai agents most users are familiar with :)
Hey Product Hunt! Yuj here.
Today Floot gets native payments and shipping. An app that can't take money is still a side project, so we made charging people as easy as building the app.
Tell your agent what you need: "add a $9/month subscription", "sell this as a one-time $49 download", "print a shipping label when an order comes in". Floot builds the whole flow end to end. No need to fiddle with technical details like API keys or webhooks. Your preview runs in test mode, so you can try the full checkout before a single real dollar moves, and it switches to live payments when you publish automatically.
Because Floot runs inside ChatGPT and Claude, building it uses the subscription you already pay for, not our AI credits.
What would you sell first?
big fan of what you're building. curious how coupons work, can i set them to expire after a few days?
@mituhin thanks Paul! coupons are built in, you just ask for one like "add a LAUNCH20 code for 20% off". checking with the team on expiry dates and will confirm here shortly
@mituhin yes all customizable
@mituhin thanks Paul, big fan of Flowmapp too! and closing the loop on expiry: yes, like Yuj said it's customizable — just describe the coupon ("LAUNCH20, 20% off, expires in 3 days") and it's set up
@mituhin an expiry date, a usage limit, first-time buyers only: just describe the rule and it's built in
can i see all my orders and refunds in one place inside the app?
@querri yes you can ask your agent to build out an admin ui for this
@querri yes! adding to Yuj — it's literally one prompt, something like "give me an admin page with all orders and refunds", and refunds can be issued from there too
@querri an admin page with orders, refunds and payout status is one prompt away, and it stays private to you
would love a template store with payments already wired in. any plans for that?
@justin2025 at some point! but it's really easy to set this up with chatgpt/claude with a couple prompts!
@justin2025 love this idea Justin, noting it down 📝 in the meantime "build me a storefront with a $29 product and checkout" gets you 90% of a template in one prompt
@justin2025 noted 🙏 for now 'fork' a project you like, and the payments come along with it
I feel like oftentimes projects stay as side projects because the creator doesn't know how to accept payments. This solves that 💪
So excited to see Floot make it much easier for anyone to make money online.
@edlook 🫡🫡🫡
@edlook And we'll keep making it easier!!
@edlook yes!! "the last step is where good ideas die" — not anymore 💪 thanks Ed
payments inside chatgpt apps is the missing peice 🔥 stripe setup hard for vibe coders?
