When you're asking users to trust you with their financial data, you need connections that just work. Plaid's transaction categorization and real-time balance updates are also critical for Finlingo's smart alerts to catch spending issues before they become problems. MX and Finicity were close, but Plaid's developer experience and webhook reliability made integration faster and more stable for our real-time monitoring features.

Resend has the cleanest API we've used for transactional emails. When we're sending spending alerts and financial notifications, delivery speed and reliability are critical. Resend's React Email integration made it easy to build beautiful email templates in code, and their delivery rates are consistently above 99%. SendGrid and Mailgun had more features, but Resend's developer experience and straightforward pricing meant we could ship faster without worrying about complex configuration or surprise costs.
