It would be more useful if I could search for people that follow me. Presumably, these are people that would be interested in hearing from me or meeting up. I'm also more familiar with the people I follow so this makes search slightly less useful. That said, I dig this. 😄
EDIT: looks like @fighto had the same thought.
YES. This is exactly what is missing from Twitter search. I love the ability to find people I can connect with in the city I'm in, for a particular topic/event, reach out to for help, etc. Would be great to see this open up to people that follow you, I agree @rrhoover.
You guys!
Totally wasn't expecting this.
I did a few months travelling last year, and I always wanted to know who I followed that could be in the same city I was in, but so many tools like Followerwonk/Socialbro etc only let me analyze who was following me.
But you're not the first to ask for the opposite, so I'll see what I can do ;)

I can see a lot of unique uses for this tool... their homepage lists a few:
"If you're visiting a new city and want to get beers, or looking to hire someone for that awesome app you are building, you can quickly search and organize them using Filta."
Very cool +1 on seeing the folks that follow me -- also would like to see a user count next to the filters? Nice to get a sense of the groups -- when I'm searching on groups like "bay area", "nyc" "oakland" etc.
I agree with @flighto and @rrhoover that being able to search people who follow me or people where there was a mutual follow would be a bit more beneficial.
However, I think this current version still has some good uses such as searching for people who work at a specific company or people who live in a certain area.
