we do cold outreach at Dial too, so this is a question I actually need answered for my own use, not just curiosity. LinkedIn is notoriously trigger-happy about restricting accounts that look automated, and "hand the whole job to your agent" sounds like exactly the pattern their detection is built to catch. is the pacing/rate-limiting tuned per account based on how LinkedIn treats that specific profile's normal activity, or is there a global default that assumes every user looks the same to LinkedIn's side
@galdayan thanks for asking this! the account's normal activity matters a lot here
to answer directly: limits are configurable per account, and you control them. we don't automatically learn each profile's baseline and adjust the limits for you
from what we see in our own data, sudden activity spikes and repetitive timing patterns are what trigger linkedin's detect mechanisms mostly. an account that's been quiet suddenly doing lots of outreach is very different from one that's been consistently active. Also even a small batch sent at exactly 9am every day can create a repetitive pattern.
on our side, we vary the timing, space actions out and keep them within your configured working hours and daily limits. anything over the limit waits until the next day.
you can set separate limits for dms, comments, reactions and connection requests on each account. for a lightly used account, start lower. for an established, consistently active account, you have more room to increase them gradually. also count whatever you're doing manually or through other tools on that same profile.
and handing the work to your agent doesn't bypass any of this. it can review drafts and approve actions, but those actions still go through the same pacing and account limits
so the agen't can't really mess it up, which is an important guardrail
if the account hasn't been doing much, i'd absolutely ramp up slowly rather than switch on a full outreach workload overnight. that's important whichever tool you use
p.s. checked your product, looks cool! in a way very similar to what we're building. A real-world tooling for agents =)
