Create an AI-Powered chat for your documentation in seconds! Provide the link to your documentation and we do the rest. Customize appearance and install in your site very easily
If you have developer documentation and want to boost your community with AI this is for you!
Just pull in the base URL of the site, add some customization and get a sharable link for your chat, link it anywhere you want.
I saw this trend in some places like GCP with Gemini, Aws with Amazon Q or Supabase with Ask AI, but they're all custom-implemented solutions, so I created ExplainIt so anybody can create a powerful chatbot for their documentation site without investing resources in the development and maintaining, you just want devs to build with your stuff, the more they can do the better, the quicker the better, and if they get a smooth experience while doing it that's legendary already.
As a developer myself, I would love to see ExplainIt in every documentation site, I come to the site with a question, I want to get an answer, and keep going with my stuff. Imagine also loading common issues, practices, etc. All at the reach of a message. Don't scare away clients because of poor documentation anymore.
Just some clicks!! With one base URL you are halfway through.

@oksana_karpenko hey Oksana! Thank you! Glad to see you're trying it out! Can you please try with a different image? I'm trying it on my side and it's working. There's a limitation for a maximum 1MB and file format jpg/jpeg/png I'll add these details right now. If you have any other questions, issues, or suggestions please feel free to reach out at my email matuzapata@gmail.com or on telegram @matzapata
Awesome tool! As a developer, I always suffer with the search experience of the docs sites, most of the time the results are awful. This is a game-changer! I will try it out.
@alejandro_hernandez13 Thank you very much ale! I agree, writing good documentation is not easy, dealing with bad documentation is a pain, but if you can rely on someone to explainit in multiple forms and connect different dost for you then that's a happy world. Appreciate the comment)

Reading the docs can be a pain if not particularly well-organized, but as a dev (I know I suffer from this too), you don't always know how well you're actually conveying the instruction or feature you're trying to illustrate. To you, everything seems obvious!
I can definitely see how adding an AI explainer component would improve user experience. Gets my upvote!
@kevwilliams012 Thank you!! That is a perfect description of the situation, writing good documentation is a challenge also, Explainit can fill the gap and improve user experience
Explainit evidently aims to enhance user experience by adding an interactive, AI-powered chat service to facilitate access to documentation. It sounds particularly useful for complex products with extensive manuals or knowledge bases. I wonder how advanced the customization options are and whether there is any support for integrating with different types of documentation hosting platforms.
Upvoted for the convenience and the potential to greatly improve user engagement with documentation through AI interaction.
