Emdash is an open-source desktop app for running multiple coding agents in parallel; one place to monitor sessions, review diffs, and turn issues into PRs.

Curious whether Emdash handles context about non-code file types in a repo — specifically design assets like WOFF2 fonts, compiled CSS, and SVG icon sets. Design system repos mix code and compiled assets heavily, and most agent tools treat everything as code. Does Emdash pass that file-type context to the agent or leave it to the agent to infer?

Provider-agnostic is the right bet here. Most teams I know are running Claude Code in one repo and Copilot in another, and the context switching is real. Having one desktop window to watch all agents is a workflow I didn't know I needed until I saw this.

honestly been waiting for something like this. i have like 3-4 claude code sessions open at the same time and switching between them in the terminal is a mess. tried emdash for 1.5 months and the worktree isolation alone makes it worth it. also nice that it doesn't force you into one provider. good stuff

The multi-agent coordination was the part that stood out to me. Parallel execution is cool, but keeping context clean across repos seems like the harder problem.

love the name. Maybe this can replace the 15 terminal windows I monitor.
Been using the app for a little over 2 months now and I genuinely think this is the best tool for multiple worktrees. Such a huge time saver. Happy launch day!
