Elastic Developers

Get rid of your backlog with an external dev team

In the rush of new features and emergencies, it’s easy for your secondary backlog to fall by the wayside. What if someone else could take care of your dirty work? What if you could hire excellent backup developers right now, and for $99/hour for a team of 3?

What do you think? …

Hey everyone, I’m excited to introduce you to Elastic Developers! We’re here to help you clean out your secondary backlog once and for all! As a community of people who create and operate different tech products, you must understand the pain of an enormous backlog better than anyone! Of course, these tasks are important and need to get finished, but… there are always top priority tasks, new features, urgent crises, and so on. It’s easy for these tasks to stay in the backlog for ages. This is where Elastic Developers comes in. Having encountered some of the same problems ourselves, we were inspired to launch a project to connect busy founders and CTOs with external teams of developers. How does it work? Just answer a couple questions about your project and our system automatically finds a perfect team for you. New customers pay a one-time, refundable deposit of $99 before work starts. If the team is a fit, you discuss the next steps on a call with the team, and the deposit covers the first hour of development. If it’s not a fit, your deposit goes right back into your account (payments are powered by Stripe). All our teams come in 3 during this test period. I hope you give Elastic Developers a try, and let me know what you think. Happy coding! Elastic Developers Team

Elastic Developers will help you when you have a bunch of separate tasks your primary dev team have no time to do.

Pros:

Fixed team with the fixed price. Connect them to your backlog when you need them.

Cons:

Connecting all my issue trackers inside this service would help, but not for now, I understand

Hi team, where are you sourcing these devs from? Is it easy to assess their abilities? I would want to know that it's not more trouble than it's worth to essentially onboard elastic devs
Halyna Divakova
@ben_stanfield We only accept developers from top outsourcing agencies, and they go through in-house procedures of vetting and pre-interviews. Recently, we started testing them through HackerRank for Work as well. Our main goal is to ensure the quality of work provided to our clients, so we take care in verifying that developers are skilled, and their profiles are up-to-date. Let us know more about your project in the online chat on our website, and we'll get in touch providing more info on team selection and team on-boarding.

When you’re a CTO of a fast-growing tech startup, you don’t have much time for cleaning out secondary backlog and taking care of small issues. You’ve got multiple high-priority tasks and unexpected emergencies to deal with. That’s why I have always dreamt about a tool which would allow for solving backlog issues fast and effective, without my 24/7 involvement into the process. That’s exactly what Elastic Developers does. Flexibility, quality, minimum hassle, and speed are guaranteed.

@sinoptik Appreciate your input! Some say it's magic, we say it's possible. We want people to try ED and tell us if we can make magic happen.

Technical debt is a serious issue though... How do external developers can dive deep into it when they're only a temporary solution?
Halyna Divakova
@eugenelata It's true but working with an external team can also be like working with a consultancy. Elastic developers can be integrated into your backlog to find complex & low-quality code. They can transparently solve these issues and mentor your team to decrease technical debt in the future.

Hi folks, Meet the "Uber for software development". One of the critical constraints all of us makers face is that it is only as much our development team can do within a sprint. We get hard on the prioritisation, adopt sophisticated product roadmap frameworks and tools, but there is always the stuff we wish we could get built left behind and the technical debt keeps piling up. Elastic Developers is our take on this problem. What if the seasoned team augmentation were as easy, fast and safe as hauling a ride via Uber? What if engineers with the matching skills were always readily available in the cloud to hold your back and someone has already done all the homework vetting them and organising the entire process to the extent you can be 100% confident in the result? I am looking forward to learning your thoughts!

Great product, tested it myself! :)
