Real app screens from iPhone Duo, in all three fold states

Duo Gallery shows how real iOS apps adapt to iPhone Duo. Every screen is captured by hand on the device: closed, half-folded and open, in light and dark mode. No mockups, no renders. Filter by fold state, see which apps are actually optimized, and browse the half-folded layouts that only exist on the Duo. Includes screen sizes for designers and a free MCP server, so Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor can search the screens.

Hi Product Hunt, I’m Christian. Espen and I run 234 Studio, a small design studio in Oslo.
When iPhone Duo was announced, we wanted to see what real apps actually do with the fold. There were plenty of renders, but no real screenshots. So we started capturing them by hand on the device.
Duo Gallery has 100 apps and 309 screens so far. Every screen is shown closed, half-folded and open, in light and dark mode.
Two weeks in, a few things stand out:
30 of 78 third-party apps fill the inner display with a layout made for it, and 22 more are partly there. The other 26, including Snapchat, LinkedIn and Duolingo, show their iPhone layout in a window with empty space on both sides.
Apple is ahead: 21 of its 22 apps are optimized. The exception is the Apple Store app.
The half-folded state is where the most interesting design happens. Most apps look the same as when open, but a few, like Netflix, NRK Radio and Packing List, get a layout of their own.
You can filter by fold state, see which apps are optimized, look up the screen sizes, and search everything from Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor through a free MCP server.
It’s free, with no account and no ads. We add apps every week.
Two questions for you:
Which app should we capture next?
If you design or build for iOS, what would make this more useful in your work?
