Looks like a solid tool, but as someone who already uses CleanShot X, I think there’s not much reason to switch to Dropbox Capture.
One potential reason could be that Capture supports comments, but I imagine people need a Dropbox account to comment, right? (If not you should highlight that on the website because it’d be a super helpful feature!)
As for transcripts, if I needed them often, I’d probably rather stick with Descript’s free recorder which also lets you remove filler words and edit your video by editing the text before you share it (it has comments too!)
I’m always happy to see more competition for apps I love to use (it can only lead to improvements for everyone). All I’m saying is that Dropbox might need to up its game to really compete.
