We use Dots at ClearMix to pay our network of 1099 and international video editor and producers. It's deeply integrated with our workflow to allow for automated payouts upon task approvals. It's a clean API which handles the hard parts of managing a payout network.

I have $141 being held in my Dots account that I cannot access because their verification system is linked to an old phone number. I have contacted their support multiple times and was told to reach out to the paying organization — which has no accessible customer support. Dots refuses to provide any alternative verification method despite the fact that my funds expire on May 21st and will not be reissued. I have now filed complaints with both the CFPB and the BBB. This is unacceptable for a company handling people's money. 1 star
