The project started with a simple question:
"What if weather could secure a blockchain?"

I'm yuzu_mikan. I am a high school student living in Japan. Let me introduce "Dawn."

Dawn is a cryptocurrency that uses weather data. Dawn aims to create an energy-efficient blockchain.
The idea is simple: use weather observations as a source of unpredictability, then combine them with cryptography to generate blocks.

Dawn still faces many challenges. For example, there is the issue of how to set the acceptable error range for thermometers. To address this issue, we are currently collecting long-term temperature data from multiple sources and conducting statistical analyses of thermometer errors to determine the acceptable error range.

⚠️ Caution
I’m not trying to replace Bitcoin, nor am I trying to prove that this is the future of blockchain. I was simply curious to see whether weather data could be used as a practical beacon in a decentralized system.
