I’m Saffan, co-founder of Dashmap — the cycling navigation and safety app 🚴

I started this after I had a crash with a taxi while biking to uni. I dislocated my shoulder, wanted to sue the driver, but had no video proof. Even my insurance claim became a nightmare without evidence. That’s when I realized: cyclists need an easy way to record and protect themselves on the road.

With Dashmap, you just mount your phone on your bike, open the app, and ride. It records your journey while guiding you with simple, bike-friendly navigation. If something happens, you can instantly save the last 60 seconds of your ride.
