@masump First, we use a mixture of large language models and constantly update the phrases as we get the speech data. There's also a part where our users upload their documents (pitch deck, support docs, etc.) and enter keywords (company name, product names, customer names, etc.) to further optimize the translations for their conversations.

@rocsheh Yes your feedback and question is spot on! We do have some custom glossary or preset keywords for industries like AI, Data, Tech, and Steel. We are hoping to expand this to other industries like bio, finance, etc.

@marin_artisk (1) We have several industry presets that our users can select. These keywords will be applied to all conversations that they have in their organization. (2) Our users proactively input company- and industry-specific themselves. (3) They can also upload relevant documents and we'll extract key terms and jargons included in the documents.
Hopefully in the future, we will integrate with the knowledge base and CRM to build a more context-rich translation engine 💪

How many languages max can be used simultaneously in a meeting with real time translation? Is that 20+ languages?

@hugh_bisset Hey Hugh, for best results, we recommend using up to 5 languages simultaneously. While you can certainly add more using too many languages in a meeting will result in higher latency.
Looks so good that I wish it could fit this scenario: I have to teach a workshop in Belgium (french-speaking), in-person. I speak Spanish (native) and English (quite well). How would Cuckoo be of help? How about the set-up and the costs?

@alberto_cohen Hey Alberto, you can speak in English, and set up English → French translation for your audience. For offline use like you mentioned, it captures your voice through a mic. I’d recommend having a simple Bluetooth mic ready to ensure stable audio input.
