A few years ago at ConvertKit we launched a book called I Am A Blogger that featured inspiring stories of creators earning a living online. We sold them in sets of two with hopes that having an extra would encourage people to give one away. We didn’t expect it to change someone's life. But that's exactly the impact it had on a lawyer named Tanya Harris who found the courage and confidence to quit her job and go full time on her food blogging dream after a friend gifted her a copy of our book. We knew we had to publish a second book, & that we had to tell Tanya's story in it. I Am A Creator Vol. 2 was written by our own in-house storyteller, Isa Adney, and it features gorgeous original photography from incredible artists. Our goal with this book is to get it into the hands of more creators like Tanya. Creators who are looking for the inspiration and encouragement to keep pursuing their dreams. So instead of selling this book we're giving it away for free – with a bit of a twist. We're running a campaign right now where you can nominate a creator you believe in to receive a free copy of the book. All you have to do is tag the creator in a post on your Twitter or Instagram feed saying why you believe in them using the #CreatorIBelieveIn hashtag. We'll send out a free book to the first 500 creators nominated. We're taking this approach because creators often doubt themselves or think about giving up, and your nomination could be the thing to give a creator friend in your life the extra boost of encouragement they need right now to keep pursuing their dreams. I'm so excited for this to launch! The first edition is one of my favorite things to gift to aspiring creators, so it's great to have another round of stories. A huge congratulations to Charli, Isa, Tania, Dani, Henry, and everyone else who worked on this. In a world where everything is digital it's fun to do a physical project.
