Hi, I'm Uladzislau, maker of Clean Skin.
I built it for my girlfriend. She reads the ingredient list on every cream before she buys it and googles the ingredients one by one, right there in the store. A trip for one cream takes her half an hour, and she still isn't sure the cream won't break her out.
Scanner apps didn't help. They work from a barcode and a product database, and many products sold in Warsaw, Lagos or Lisbon aren't in any database.
Clean Skin reads the label itself. Point the camera at the ingredient list, Latin or Cyrillic, and in a few seconds you get:
• a 1–10 safety score based on public hazard data
• a plain explanation of each ingredient: what it does and why it matters for your skin
• a stop list and Personal Match: which products in your routine fit your skin
• a Skin Health check from one selfie and an AI assistant for follow-up questions
• search across 113,000 products when the box isn't in your hands
Scanning and scores are free without limits. Pro adds enhanced recognition, photo skin analysis and the assistant.
iOS 17+, 8 languages.
What I want to know from you:
– which ingredient explanations were unclear
– what would make you trust the score
– which product the scanner got wrong
Thanks for reading.
